This guy is your sleeper lottery pick right now--and hes no sleeper. I watched Florida Lsu yesterday and this guy looks like Bradley Beal/bigger Damian Lillard. 6-4 215 lead guard Cameron Thomas PG/SG

Yeah I like him a lot too. He can flat out score. Still a sleeper in the mocks for some reason.

Better scoring version of JKidd?

Naw. The gap in scoring and playmaking skills makes that comparison too much of a stretch. For some reason, he reminds me of Brandon Roy when he was healthy. Maybe a mentally stable Stephon Marbury? A better playmaking, but slightly less athletic D Rose?

That pass was basketball porn regardless.

If we end up being good enough to remain in the 12-15 draft pick range with our own pick, I would be interested in Corey Kispert no doubt. He looks like a very projectable starter in the league in the Joe Harris/Duncan Robinson range. He is one of the best shooters I've seen and would be an elite nba shooter pretty quickly. Then we can focus on a high upside/high risk freshman maybe with the dallas pick like Cam Thomas, Springer, or Clarke.

The core would be

C Robinson
PF Randle
SF Kispert
SG Barrett
PG Quickley
6th Toppin

Kispert probably wouldn't start right away with Rivers and Burks still on the roster, but I could see him becoming a starter in a couple of years. But look at the shooting around Randle, Barrett, and Mitch in the lineup.

He could be Joe Harris or he could be Doug McDermott. He still needs to prove a lot to make it to the lottery IMHO.

Yeah the late lottery is his absolute ceiling and that's with him continuing to shoot and play the way he is. Not even saying he will be the best option, but he will be far and away the best shooter available and maybe best contributor outside of the top 10.

Thanks for posting this. The big takeaway is this is currently being viewed as a 5 man draft at the top, but there will obviously be surprises like any other draft. And unless the Knicks stumble to one of the worst records in the league and lock up a top 5 pick, we can't rely on getting one of those players. But it seems like this front office has the ability to find sleepers and those who are under the radar.

Yeah, we might be to good for the top 5 😢 but I like the look of the way things might pan out in the first round. Still have to watch how the G-League select team looks.

If only he had that growth spurt his dad had Reminds me of Rick Brunson Jr. Stack proving to be legit as a coach down there.

ESPN's updated big board currently has Bouknight 10, Kispert 11, Cam Thomas 12, and Moses Moody 19 (who I think is underrated on that board.) These are 4 guys i'm really keeping a close eye on if we land somewhere in the 10-15 range.
BRIGGS @ 1/8/2021 8:49 AM

2nd rd draft choice.
Next Duncan Robinson?
Tyler Polley 6-9 guard from Uconn Hurt for most of his career. Has unusual size for essentially a 2 G can handle full length and is a plus defender . But best thing is his 3 point shot

Looks intriguing. I think Kispert is the next Duncan Robinson though.

The Athletic's newest mock draft has Bouknight 8, Kispert 9, Moody 13, and Thomas 16.

These 4 players' seem to be falling into place in terms of their rankings in this draft class. Really good chance we end up with one of them.

I think Kispert is more like a wally Z and likely lottery pick.

Robinson was an undrafted project--Polley likely too. I like finding second rounders or undrafted. People knock me on Bryn Forbes--I always laigh cuz I picked him out as an undrafted free agent--how can u lose on that. Hes a good role player--not everyone a star:)

Wouldn’t be upset with Kispert at all. I think Bouknight gets the nod for now because he seems to be the better scorer which we need a lot of.

I would love Zaire Williams and Bouknight
