I'm really impressed with this kid. He dosen't seem to force anything, always looking for the open guy, can shoot the ball, and plays his ass of on defense. I'm not sure if I'm accurately describing him, but there's just something about him and I think thats why all these draft boards rate him so highly despite lack of production. Only knock on his game is that I'd like to see him be a bit more aggressive in looking for his shot. His 3pt shot looks nice but dosen't take more of them.

I like him too. My only question is that he gives me Killian Hayes vibes athletically. It's hard to see how that will translate some times.

Evan Mobley used to give me Kareem vibes, but this one was more like Charles Smith

Yeah, I still wonder if he's a center or an AD style PF. He definitely needs to get stronger.

Yeah he dosen't have much bounce like Hayes, but the guy is a bully! Like he has 25+ pounds of lean muscle on him despite being I think a foot shorter.

Skip to 2:06 for Exhibit A. He had a similar play in last nights game but the tape isn't out yet.

Luka came in fat, which helped the cause. One tweaked hamstring at the break might be enough to push that pick into the lottery. I'm also counting on KP to miss his usual share of games.

Kind of feel like KP had held his end of the bargain but Timmy and Luca have not. They have to be out of the playoff race (Play in does not help our cause) and they have to it in their head that they shelve Luca to protect the investment and reboot for next season. same for KP if possible. NO incentive to tank and the pick is gone. Doubt they petty enough to play only for the optics of how it looks that they traded KP. They can point to Dennis and be ok public relations wise. Pick it gone either way so it’s what’s best for the team. It will play out.
Rumor is Leon has a dozen donuts sent to Lucas house every morning.

I’ve said this before but they would be better off just focusing on getting Luka and KP through the season healthy and try to build chemistry even if they lose games. Then they can try to get a legitimate third piece on the team instead of relying on Timmy. Adding a guy like a Fournier to replace a chucker like Hardaway and say or very own Frank Ntilkina to help defend against all he elite PG’s out west and I see them being a playoff team again in 2022. They aren’t inherently bad, the West just got better as a whole and they stagnated. They thought that Luka was Dirk and he might be but he isn’t yet. Hell I don’t expect that kid to come back in as bad shape after the lousy season they are about to have either.

They might get into the play in, hell they might get hot and work their way into the playoffs legit. However we’re definitely getting a pick no later than 20 which is better than the experts had us doing a few weeks ago.

44% from 3 (only 18 attempts so far). He looks mobile on D and his recognition isn't cringe worthy. I think he could definitely fill a niche.

So, when we win the 1 and 2 picks this year, who are you guys taking for the Knicks?

I’d take Mobley and Cunningham

Man don’t do this to me

Franz Wagner from Mich should enter that late lottery consideration for us. He's a 2-way player that does a little of everything. Can shoot and really competes defensively. He probably doesn't have top upside but he could be a long-term starting SF, our biggest hole, and offer good production on both ends of the floor.

You see I like him, but I tend to distrust those guys who don’t seem to excel at at one thing.
