Might've been the first point guard taken in the last draft.

So his passing and athleticism look real good. Haven’t seen much of a shot from him yet. Still pretty exciting to watch. Has really good awareness of where he is on the court. Solid footwork to go with that.

That’s a good basketball player

There are true franchise changing talents in this draft. At this point its all luck whether we land one or not. If we get Cunningham or Suggs things will start to move quickly. Suddenly good players will sign here and we will be loaded with young depth. We just need that transcendent player to start the engine

I know, right? And the G-League select team hasn't even started yet.

Is it going to start?

I hope so. We gotta get Theo Pinson those reps.

Just watched both of the videos. I think your short sentence is about as spot-on as anyone can get. Frank and DSJ are officially on notice because the team will go as far as those 2 decide to take us and if we find ourselves in the top 3 then their jobs are as good as gone while we land this guy. Suggs looks awesome.

Allanfan20 @ 11/27/2020 5:42 PM
Damn, imagine if the basketball Gods finally smile on us and cause the Mavs to suck and get the number 1 pick and allow us to just barely miss the playoffs and we get the 2nd pick with a stroke of luck?

1- Suggs
2- RJ
3- Cunningham
4- Toppin
5- Mitch

Wowza. I know, I’ll stop teasing myself. We’ll definitely end up with the 10th and 25th picks.

Wish him better luck than Cole. Looks real smooth of the dribble.

Yep, this season isn't about development for them. It's about preservation. No more whining, no more excuses. I know it's not fair, but every year there's dozens of younger, hungry dudes ready to take their jobs.

Both the Knicks and Dallas may find themselves in the lottery. Baring injuries which always happen. NBA overall is pretty competitive this yr. The West, every team other than OKC will should be competitive. Not to many easy wins for Dallas to rack up out there. What Dallas does have going for it though. Is it has a great shot at winning their division. We gotta hope Pelicans explode to the top of that one. In the East. Detroit, Cleveland, Bulls, Knicks will probably struggle. With Washington being a wild card team. But will have another 9 competitive teams in the East where the West won’t be able to just beat up on either.

That 1/2 dream made me smile.

I’ve seen enough from Cade and Suggs.

C Robinson
PF Toppin
SF Barrett
SG Quickley
PG Cunningham or Suggs

This next year and I’m good. Then just develop, add quality rotation players and build up a playoff team and add a star via free agency when we are ready.

Knicks are going to be glad to be bad again for 1 more year. Or lucky
BigDaddyG @ 11/27/2020 10:04 PM
Jalen Johnson and, I guess Duke, plays tomorrow. He would've gone number #1 last draft. Might not make top this year.

The guys I’m focused on are Suggs and the Kentucky guys. Cade is the obvious #1 but let’s be honest it’s a 14% chance at best. Likelihood is we are still in the 4-9 range. If we are in the 4-6 range its Boston or Suggs. In the 7-9 range the target is probably Clarke. With the Dallas pick Askew and Jackson from Kentucky are in range. We have to remember that nearly every move was made with a Kentucky or CAA connection. This is how the knicks are operating now.

We all lean on the connections we have but I wouldn’t buy into the full blown CAA and Kentucky only connections

Very frustrating that The Warriors and Rockets likely took a big step down due to injuries and trade demands. In addition to the play in tournament, it's really hard to see how the Mavs would miss the playoffs (likely they'll end with very high seeding)- but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

It won’t be only but it will be significant each offseason.
