He might end up at the lower end of the lotto but he is a certified lottery pick.
I think the Donovan comps are going to push him up. Scouts are going to want to make up for missing out D. Mitchell the first time around. That and the fact that no one else really solidified their case.
I think Johnson and Davion Mitchell are out for us.
Im going
Josh Giddey 13-17 Charles Bassey 19-22 Jeremiah Robinson 32
all players over 6-9 at different positions. We have 3 point shooting we need bigger players a true PG and a back up C so we dont have to pay noel.

If some of the current mocks are anyway near accurate, then Giddey is probably out for us too. Bouknight might be the guy to look at. What do you guys think about Sharife Cooper? Best pure floor general in the draft, but he's short and can't shoot.

I'd be unopposed to him if he could finish. 48% at the rim isn't good enough and its only going to get harder at next level. His passing is top tier and possibly best in draft up with Giddey and Suggs, but if you can't shoot or finish effectively while likely being a liability on defense then what value will he have?

Yeah, it's hard for me to see as more than a backup right now. His shot is broken and I'm not sure if he can ever get to a point where it's not a liability.

People at ESPN aren’t serious if they have Moody at 21.

I come bearing more Giddey vids. These guys got a Draft Express like interview with him that I thought was pretty cool. The first 17-18 mins is about his passing and I skipped over most of it since it’s quite clear that he is a top tier passer. The rest talks about his shooting and defense. On his shooting, the interviewer talked about his improvements but how they’re are still mechanical inconsistencies( awkward lean upon release). Giddey didn’t seem fazed in the slightest and believes with more reps that will come. His team defense as I suspected is very good. His on ball defense is quite bad lol but he’s a willing learner.

If the Knicks could somehow come away with Davion and Giddy I’d be ecstatic

That would be a pretty good haul. You get a guy with very high upside who can still help the team tremendously with his passing as he develops his shooting and a guy at the very least will give you good scoring off the bench and at best is our Kemba Walker.

Yeah, I can see him rising into 6-10 range. Giddey's three ball is showing improvement and he's performing in a legit league.
I agree. We have no chance at giddey. He’s gonna go way higher than people think. Sounds like he’s gonna measure over 6-9 in shoes pure pg 18 years old with great vision and handle? If he goes top 3 it won’t surprise me.

I dont think so. 6-9 PGs dont grow on trees. You see the value of Lamelo Ball. Hes gonna break into that top 5 group
BRIGGS@ 4/13/2021 10:31 AM
