Knicks · Your totally Win predictions for 20/21 season (page 1)

knicks1248 @ 12/23/2020 11:41 AM
I'm thinking 34-37

I might be reaching with this young roster, but thibs will have these guys well prepared, the rotation will be a little tighter, the roles are little more define, and if we can up the FT percentages and the 3 point percentage to at least AVG, we can be at least an avg team.

Allanfan20 @ 12/23/2020 12:16 PM
If Mitch can stay on the court and RJ can improve and make the team better and if Obi gets better gradually, as well as Knox, then we can go above 30 wins. If none of those things happens then we are in the low 20s or even the teens.
Allanfan20 @ 12/23/2020 12:17 PM
I’m going to predict a 32-40 record.

That’s where I stand, if quick is the real deal (I think he is) we will hit that 40 number

fwk00 @ 12/23/2020 12:53 PM
Slow start.

36 wins

Nalod @ 12/23/2020 12:59 PM
Keeping it real. 22 wins.
Won’t see me getting angry at the media, Leon, Perry, or Thibs.
Anything that that total will bring a smile to my face!!!
I hope to be grinning!!
ramtour420 @ 12/23/2020 1:17 PM
33 wins and a playoff spot to boot !!! Yeah baby , I am hanging that ass out there

I am thinking a season like this is very possible. I am prepared for that but I feel slightly optimistic and I like some of our players and Thibs as well so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

wargames @ 12/23/2020 2:34 PM
24-28 wins and a midseason trade for sime young assets

I'm in this camp - that if Thibs can eek out high 20 win total, then he's gotten this roster to overacheive.

I'll call for 27 wins, 45 losses.

I also have to think there might be games missed/not played due to COVID.

Knixkik @ 12/23/2020 3:53 PM
I’ll say 30 wins.
nyvector16 @ 12/23/2020 4:13 PM
31 Wins.
nykshaknbake @ 12/23/2020 5:55 PM
The roster is young and they will make alot of young player mistakes. Thibs will have this squad defending. The problem is we don't have a lead guard. 30 wins.
Uptown @ 12/23/2020 6:48 PM
28-44

Thibs is from the Riley and Van Gundy school of coaching where they get their teams over achieve. Their teams play every game like its a game 7. Knicks will play hard for 48 mins and will surprise some teams steal a couple of victories over more talented teams....

BigDaddyG @ 12/23/2020 7:25 PM
Whatever win total leads us to Cade or Jalen Suggs. Is 20 to high? Ok, I'll go with 18
TPercy @ 12/23/2020 7:57 PM
30 and this is with our young guys making improvements. We have to take into account our talent composition compared to the rest of the league.
shinmen @ 12/24/2020 6:08 AM
25 wins. We are not that much different from last year and a few eastern teams have improved their roster.
I expect progress from RJ and I really like IQ but we are still a bad team.
franco12 @ 12/24/2020 8:52 AM
anyone feeling unrealistic after last nights loss?

I mean, great game - showed we've got some nice pieces, and they gave effort - but they fell apart at the end- lost steam.

If we had been able to close out, I'd be upping my prediction.

But we're going to be a bad team. And that is ok.

GustavBahler @ 12/24/2020 9:26 AM
41 wins

Im usually overly optimistic. Believe Rivers will give us even more offense. Randle is looking like a mature 2 way player. Believe Frank and DSJr will be traded to help with a playoff push.

Two things will get FAs interested. A young, scrappy, team making the playoffs. And players like RJ, Obi, Mitch, Quickley showing they're legit core players.

Jmpasq @ 12/24/2020 9:27 AM
The team plays hard but we lack talent. DO we have 1 player that could start o more than half the teams in the NBA. WIthout big jumps from Barrett and Mitch 25 seems like a tough total to get to.
NYKBocker @ 12/24/2020 9:29 AM
42 wins. Assuming Payton is removed from the rotation
