Knicks · We need to package Payton and bullock for a back up pg (page 1)

Quick is a easy starter in my opinion we need a back up that’s able to spread the floor and not allow defenses to pounce on our players knowing the pg can’t hit sh I t .

Or just play Harper and make sure Payton never sees the floor again

No! We must stay the course for, um, youth development!

You mean like Austin Rivers who is on the rosters and currently getting healthy?

Yes I forget he’s on the roster maybe he puts Payton on the pine for good

Playing Payton as the starting PG at the beginning of the season is good thing. He will continues to provide very little impact on the floor and in a few games I hope he gets stuck on the end of the bench for good.
His supposed ability is manage an offense but when he's on the court the offense is not more fluid. Sure, he gets a lot of assists but it's opportunistic assists, they don't improve the flow of the offense.

I’d rather go with Jared Harper, the mo is out on Payton force him to score and bad things are going to happen. He’s awful and if you can’t shoot in today’s nba there is no place for you especially at the guard position.

Now if hand checking was possible he’d be a good scrappy pg since teams could kill the 3 but that’s not the reality anymore. When teams know you can’t shoot they cheat and make it harder for the rest of the team to score putting you in position to lose quarters and potentially the game...

Payton is one of the worst players on the team and it showed last night. If we’re gonna put in people that can’t shoot start Frank at least he plays defense.

Why would any team trade for Elfrid Payton?

Everyone in the nba knows Payton is trash except the Knicks

smackeddog @ 12/24/2020 1:32 PM
Payton, DSj and Frank- it's like a Russian doll of the worst PG's in the league- how is it possible we ended up with all three?!?!?!

Knicks need to start Quickley and go with either Frank or DSJ as the backup. If Isiah wants he can pick since he’s still the real GM

Our backup PG is on the roster already.

Jared Harper

He's the next best PG on the roster, after Quickley.
