We forget river had a nice career at Duke with some clutch moments. Dude had one swagger. Playing for dad might have helped him but she you play for father it looks like nepotism.
Rare engough for a son to follow his dad into the league. Austin’s dad was a Knick. Kiki followed his dad Dr. Ernie vandeweghe. Any other father son to play for the knicks??
Did Ewing Jr. make it into a regular season game?

Shows he only played 7 games for Nola in the NBA
Good 1. We have seen over the years that while sons are usually not as good as their fathers there are some exceptions. If/when they make it to the pros they will usually have a nice long career. I don't like to generalize like that but a lot of teams have at least one son of a former player on their roster. I was thinking about this when watching Sabonis play against us yesterday. Pretty sure we could have gotten him. When he came into the league he had his last name as his biggest asset. Now the dude is an All Star.
Getting back to Rivers, he was a great pickup. Perfect signing, he might become a locker room leader as well.
