Can you write a prescription for a website or does it have to be individual people?
Nope. Gotta save for Wiseman FA.
If Randle plays at this level this year and next, I’m guessing we can resign him at Buddy Hield money, maybe 4 years 90 mil. The X factor would be a team like Charlotte paying him Hayward money. Unlikely but not impossible. Still I bet he would be happy to stay for 4 years at 90 or 100 tops.

Next years team option is all we need for now.
Would he take a new contract when we exercise his option?
We have Randle for one more season before we have to pay him more. He still has too many turnovers IMO but if he can sustain his current level of play for this season and next, then we probably will pay him max. That is a big if though.

Let's say he continues at pace similar to where he's at right now. Would his market be that much better than Gallo or Christian Wood?

Antidepressants needed.
worrying about July 2022.

better or worse than Enes?
Eh...We have him signed for another year. We will have two years to evaluate him.
He's playing well and has emerged as a leader on the team. Before the season, I thought we could do with him what we did with Morris and pick up a late #1 from a team on a playoff run. If he plays like he has been playing, and can lower his turnovers a bit, I can't see why we would want to dump him.
If a guy is playing like an All-Star, he's going to have to be rewarded at some point...If he doesn't play well, then you move on.
he's 26 putting up 24/10/7 shooting > 50% and playing fantastic defense and the team is winning. Lets see how this plays out.
Other guys Briggs has suggesting maxing in the past: Enes Kanter and Isaiah Thomas. So there's that
i was genuinely worried about Briggs silence, fearing maybe he was ill (same too for Triple Threat BTW -- whose posts i miss)
then it dawned on me the problem was we were winning
Briggs had a few days to think about something negative to post and had to dig deep to find that our new problem is not shooting or post ups or whatever else. Now we're so good we might actually need to pay someone big $$
Kidding aside, love you Briggs and hoping you come back to the light side of The Force
28 points, 17 rebounds, and 9 assists
Since 2017, only 6 NBA players have accomplished that: James Harden, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, DeMarcus Cousins, and Russell Westbrook.
Randle 2.O is a force of nature on offense. His d is becoming good too. All while being a leader on the floor and in the locker room? Are you not entertained? Is that not a definition of a franchise player?
He has another year left on his deal. He will be phenomenal trade bait to get a superstar here
Dare I say Randle and a package of picks for Giannis next summer?

Trade for Giannis
Why are you so fast to trade him? He probably likes it here! Maybe we could figure out a way sign a team friendly contract? You never know

Giannis is going to want out of Milwaukee and we have assets
I’m not saying trade Randle for nothing. I actually think we may have a semi-realistic shot at getting the league’s best player

I see. So it's nothing personal, just business as usual. Simple math. You have to give to get ?
