We all did. This shows so much lack of focus. One thing is having a bad game where something goes wrong. So far against struggling teams, we have everything going wrong, which means they let that get into their heads. Guess what, 5-4 isn’t that great to get off nights like this. This was a very winnable game they let slip away. No adjustments, no focus on at least stopping them. It was open lane for the Thunder and then bricks on our end. When we are horrible, no team looks worse than us.

RJ needs to step it up. He is acting like he is the best player on the team? But taking 21 shots to get 19 points? Only 2 dimes?

Still learning how to be a winning team. Cannot take any nights off.

Yeah a lot of praise from the media this week.But I think its more that they are tired , because they are not used to logging these heavy minutes. They were bricking shots off the rim, some off the backboard , air balls tells me they don't have their legs.I don't mind Thibs playing them heavy minutes they have a young team , but that type of endurance gets built up , they are not there yet.Feel like we will see more games like this until they have that stamina built up.

This is so true, especially since sometimes Barrett isn’t playing well and deserves the bench.

This was one of those games where everyone’s weaknesses came out. RJ showed that he still has long ways to go as a shooter and Quickley really struggles to get in the lane. The worrying thing is that most of the shots that everyone took where pretty good shots, they just couldn’t hit anything.

League has scouting on him and OKC looked prepared for us.
IN fact the knicks are being taken more seriously as well as teams know what we are doing.
Be it as it may we came out with good defense.
We had some ugly wins so its to assume we get ugly games like we saw last night.
Its a strange schedule and Covid protocols its really hard to gauge the league and its talent.

We were due for a stinker. let's see how the next few go.

Not alarmed at an off game. Everyone seemed to be pressing. Rivers, to name one. Was trying hard to repeat the impact game he just had. No big deal. We knew we needed a long term upgrade at PG. Too soon to annoint Quickley. Still very high on him as a core player.

Agree about the heavy minutes, still to early to be concerned. Im hoping this was raised by Rose when he hired Thibs. Believe it would be malpractice not to do so.

Team might have overachieved a bit early. But I still see the playoffs, if we can get some more help at PG, even a stopgap, to preserve cap space for next season

OKC guards made RJ Barrett's 44 min performance on offense/defense look useless.
Thibs have to decrease Barrett's playingtime minute to less than half of what he been receiving.
All the minute Barrett been getting each game has not improve his raw weak performance on either side of the court.
Payton & Rivers should be our starters now.
And Frank & Quickley should be their backup.
