To be honest, we let some of their players get a little too hot. If Payton dosent play and we get a couple stops we coulda given ourselves a chance..
If I’m being honest I don’t mind losses like this when our young guys play well—or at least much better than recent games.
100% these are the best losses when our young guys show promise.
We get nothing out of winning games and making the playoffs. Just play hard stay in games win 28 and let’s add another serious player in the draft.
Had a brief glimpse of Toppin in this game. I guess Tibs just wanted to get him on the floor--exactly what was accomplished, I'm not sure.

I hope when Frank gets back from his injury Thibs can give Payton's minutes to him. I dont mind Quickley starting but let Frank take over Payton's minutes. Frank is a better defender and he has shown last year the team plays well with him in the line up. I think Frank can match Payton's offense maybe the 4 for 4 on his 3pt shot is still there. I also think Knox should get consistent minutes. He is the only one shooting well.
Knox is earning his minutes. Its a process.
Let IQ KEEP progressing and earn his. He is still getting his legs and feeling the pace.
Frank will get some time. Needs some practice, timing, legs then an opening. IQ or Payton will get in foul trouble or tweak/Injury and then he has to perform and keep performing. Knox is doing this.
Same for OBI. He won’t have to wait too long.

That's cold, lol. Rivers is actually pretty clutch. He had an off game.
Tank back in action. We have ground to recover but doing it quickly.
Youth played well, which is the bottom line so that’s good.
Can’t lie, miss us being on the winning side and being the talk of town for a positive thing, but we just don’t have the shooting and consistent defense for that.
