Mills/Perry!!! LOL
Thanks to Reggie Bullock's cervical disc surgery.
Thank you to KP's jerkoff brother. If it wasn't for him we might have resigned Kristaphs. It was the forced trade that freed up space to sign Morris ( that was a pretty high number, around 15ish mil for a one season contract)
If Derek Fisher hadn’t messed around with Matt Barnes’s ex...
It all brought us to this point.
Thank you!
Don’t forget we also get Detroit’s second rounder from that trade which will be in the 31-34 range
...........If JVG’s civic did not blow off the tarmac in Jersey well who knows what a man will do?
LOL ok some fantastic stuff here
Morris to LAC for Quickley , Harkless and one of the first picks in the second round this year. What a trade.

Special thank you to the horse KP rode on.

Agreed. Many people hater the trade at the time and thought we got fleeced 😂. Quickley alone makes it a homerun for us. We also could get a good player with that Detroit puck OR use it to move up in the draft to target a certain player
Thank you to Ms. Morris for staying on the East Coast and influencing Marcus's decision. Philly is a fine city and isn't just the place you pass thru while driving from NY to DC. Also, you did a mighty fine job raising your sons. Marcus always has a home if he wants to come back

Patience. This is year 1 of a multi-year growth phase. The superstar we seek might be on the roster or added via the draft.
Getting the pick for Quick is part of increasing your odds by increasing you opportunities.
Its how you get lucky. More picks, more failure, but more touches/at bats gets you opportunities to succeed.

Exactly. That’s why I’m a big supporter in draft picks and accumulating as many as you can. I’m not opposed to trading them in a real that makes sense but not just for the sake of doing it. For well over a decade we traded tons of picks and actually ended up in worse shape. We are finally doing things correctly. Now like you said you are t going to hit on every pick but the lore the have the better chance you have to hit on a player

The aggregate of good decisions will eventually conclude in a trade at some point. This is how Utah stays competitive as they don’t get the big FA’s. Its how a lot of teams do it.
Miami got Jimmy Butler via sign and trade. If you don’t have cap space you have to have something worth moving.
And still, it does not add up unless you keep BAM and develop and do things like draft well.
Miami and Utah are very different but they sneaky stay relevant hoping they get close enough. Miami did last year as Boston got unhealthy at a bad time.
We not even close to these teams.
Thank Scott Perry....For making this trade and helping to get rid of Mills!
