The premise was to start him next to Payton at SG, so yeah, it's insane but nice try

Incorrect. My premise was to get a guy that can shoot to play SG. It was an honest thought, and rather than address it as such you get all snarky. I hardly see it as that insane. He did play SG in college after all.

I've addressed it twice already in the original thread.

Very small defensively, he’d get overwhelmed at SG

IQ and Payton can switch on defense. And it isnt like IQ tiny. He may be on she short side but his reach is long.
Knicks have 2 main PGs on the team and you are proposing they play at the same time... Im out

I suppose you're going to perpetuate the myth of Frank as an SG or SF that can't shoot?
We have 4 on the team (or 5 PGs, if you count Rivers, let's not count him, and say 4) before and after the trade.
I don't understand why this team is allergic to actually having a SHOOTER play SG since like Allan Houston

No, I'm going with some common sense, straight forward take that says Frank and DJSr were out of the rotation. For me Rivers is a combo guy who had some ball handling responsibilities but really isn't a PG on the team.

Elf and IQ are the main PGs on the team before this trade. They haven't played substantial minutes at all together and playing them at the same time as a part of a rotation would be insane

I listened to the Miami feed for a bit when my MSG feed was stuttering, and I really appreciate Breen, being a national announcer, is much more in practice with being partial. Those Miami announcers were so homerish it was annoying.

You at least have to admit that the 2 PG pairing (at least with Rose and Quickley) has looked damn good, at least this game.

Pairing IQ with another ball handler is an EXCELLENT idea. He needs it. Same reason I wouldn't start him either. He is not ready to run an offense.

Payton and IQ will not start a game this season unless Bullock, Rivers, Burke all hurt. So we can say in the very least that the coaching staff thinks your idea is not a good one.

FYI. Quickley the SG is 1 for 7. If that matters.
