Randle averaged close to 20/10 last year. Not far off from the All Star bordering 23/11 this year. If he shot just a few clicks better from three (27% last year vs 40% this year), he would have probably had better P/G numbers last year. Think the biggest reason for the negative narrative was his turnovers. Which I feel were due to Fiz incorrectly putting him in a play making role. Agree that the team did not play well. But, once again, think Fiz and the lack of pieces that were added this year were the major reason and not the pairing of Morris and Randle.

Morris was good last year for us, so good he netted us the draft pick we took IQ with. That said his shooting last season seems to have been an aberration there’s no way he’s a top 3point FG percentage in the league kind of guy. He’s also too slow to guard wings he’s really a PF and we already have Julius and Obi

Idk, Randle cleaned his game up and can co-exist with RJ. We aren’t going back, because if anything those two buried RJ on the bench, but that type of production would missed. Especially since he would probably be part of the bench mob
Randle’s perimeter shooting, especially just outside the paint, has been excellent this season
Last year all he could do was bang in the low post.

Illustrating my point that players who were hated on while Knicks have gone to better situations and are valued as role players. Calling them “trash” is just personal animosity. Which you’re entitled to do here. To me Kanter was someone who wanted to be a Knick and stood up to Labronna so I pull for him.

Sometimes....I wish we could get Tina Cervasio back. Haven't seen her in a while, but I'm sure she could spell Rebecca for a few minutes. Then we could dig into the NFL Network Developmental league and get us a blue chipper. That's a solid five year plan.
If they get the Morris that is playing in LA, great move. If it is the Morris that played with them before he was traded, while statistically much better, it would hurt them.
