Darn old school coach. But I like it
Nah...Quickley was on fire. Its the 2nd game of a back to back, and he brings Rose back who has already played 30 mins....Not feeling it.
Would have been a good learning experience for Quickley as well.
Thibs seems to like his Rooks to learn from the bench...starters still in.

Some players belong on the bench watching in this situation, not Quickley. As you know.
Wonder if thibs is trying to get on the starters to play even more aggressive on defense... quick shouldn’t have been pulled for one mistake ... he prob would have hit a few more shots ... but it’s a teachable moment so I’m not complaining...
First time we’re over 500 this late in the season since 12/13 season ... it’s been a long road, this feels good!!
We are over .500 , feels amazing .......
On another Note, Nerlens Noel is playing at a defensive player of the year level...

Great pickup by the Knicks
This is so much more satisfying as a fan, than yet another tankathon. Besides, we have the Dallas pick for that, heh heh.
What is going on???
the 4th seed at this point, over .500???

Doubt we would still be in a playoff hunt without Noel. Once Mitch was out.

It's still early!

Not really, shortened season, near the All-Star break. This has been the most fun Ive had as a Knicks fan in years. We have a great mix of vets and youth. We're thinking playoffs, not draft lotto.

He was incredible tonight.

I think healthy this team with some more talent could do damage. The league’s best players are getting older and young phenom like KD, Lebron, and Kobe doesn’t exist. Even the Warriors aren’t the warriors because they are up there in age and Klay might be injury prone.
If the Knicks can get some talent I think they have a chance in the East. They just got to avoid the Celtic trap of overpaying the wrong person and drafting guys who can’t get minutes. Aka obi... the Celtics are full of players like him who might be better players than they appear but their development are stymied behind Tatum and Brown.
My suggestion consolidate draft picks to ensure you get the best shooting 2-way Wing possible (Zaire maybe), roll the money over, see if Nerlens will sign a long term back up contract, and try to convince Zach Lavine that he Randle, and RJ would be contenders if he comes here in FA in 2022.
Maybe Thibs does not pull his starters until the other team does?
Maybe he did not like something in IQ’s game that his coaches were asking of him. He got hot but was it something else.
LIke I said, has anyone asked rose if he wants his minutes limited?
He will get hurt anyway. He might be telling his coach “Play me, I’m fine”.
