That's better now.

Thibs was ready down the stretch. Just super bummed we couldn't come up with it but definitely happy with our guys for the most part. Randle struggled early in the game but fought hard to get back into it. RJ had another efficient outing with 23 pts on 14 shots. Quickley was hot to start and finished with 21, maybe 1 more shot falls then we clutch this. Burks gave us some nice buckets when we needed to as well. Frank's D was good but overall it wasn't good enough. 0-5 from the field and 6 fouls. Refs were ass but at least 4/6 of them were clear fouls and hurt us. We also need Obi to start contributing more b/c it was clear that this wasn't going to be his game from the get go. Big shoutout to Bullock for stepping up aswell.

One more thing quick can’t be ignored as a starter he opened the floor for Reggie .. gotta give him more, Frank’s defense can’t be ignored either

Time to trade these spare parts for some help at SF or PG. Put Obi on th table dude is worthless, Knox too.

I defer to Mike and Doris if thats the rule. I saw the ball move but never left both his hands.
Same here. I thought it was a travel. I would defer to Mike and Doris since they most likely know the NBA rules better then me

Normally they'd call a jump ball or it'd be a no call because Randle is allowed to rebound his own blocked shot.

In my park .. if Randle came down still holding the ball in his hands, it's a WALK .. all-day, everyday.
In the timeout, I thought Thibs were going to write up a play for Randle & Bullock to screen for Burks or Quickley to take a quick 3-ball shot.

On the playground, when someone hit the ball while you are in shooting motion, either let it got or slam it down to show or emphasize the ball was knocked loose. Randle held it too long after Kyrie tipped it...Let it go.

Yep I didn't see him let it go.

He doesn’t have to let it go. Two players held the ball at once. That’s a held ball.

Yes he does, because he was in the air holding the ball with both hands when Kyrie touch the ball, Randle held onto the ball with both hands when his feet hit the court. Randle would've had a better chance if he took one hand off the ball to let it drop when he came down.

refs blew it. what else is new. Refereeing is the NBA's biggest issue in terms of quality product. TOo much impact from bad calls too often. they don't have a solution and Silver like Stern wants to pretend all is good because people in China like NBA. Fans hate it and even players hate it. it's a real issue

Honestly why not review that? Even if you come out of it with the same situation, you at least give the appearance of due process

glad the knicks fought and played hard

refs suck. nba is a joke

knicks1248 @ 3/16/2021 12:20 AM
How could NOEL and frank combine for zero points

this is my understanding as well. the issue is did he lose control because opponent touched it. he doesn't have to let go of the ball or let it drop to the ground etc (all of which are fine but not necessary)

it was a blown call and the NBA should fess up to it and then tell the old guy to shape up or retire if he can't keep up with the game. guy took umpteen minutes plus how long in review to determine that Nets turned the ball over, but when it's the Knicks different situation.

nba reffing is not remotely on par with the quality of the player's talent

i saw a game the other day (different situation) and the crew had 7 years collective experience. 3 refs. you kidding me
