Request if anyone can find that highlight and post it here. I did not catch the game but saw that. Really if you take a step back RJ getting some pretty good dunks in. Still 20 and sometimes seen as “Stiff” but the eye test sort of changes that there is a fluidity to his game that is evolving. That spin post move was instinctive and the kind of stuff we want to see from our yoot.
Please post.
Obi seems to be feeling it a bit more. Perhaps he is STARTING to gain confidence and the game is slowing down for him. Naturally I’d like to see this from knox as well. Someone asked since the were not traded why not play them? Good question actually and something we are not privy too. Their value might be low or they are draft night fodder for salary (frank sign and trade) as they are still young. Maybe this is how we move up a bit in the draft? Brock Aller finessed last draft kind of dancing back and forth doing some Sam Hinkie shyt. These things are small moves that don’t starphuch and we’ll need a few years to evaluate and restep to fully appreciate (if there is anything to appreciate!). Small moves have an aggregate effect that few of us can appreciate or recognize. We mostly see savior starphuching type of moves but the good teams grind it out. We have 2 1st rounders and 2 in the second. Detroit and ours. You can’t play in that space if you don’t have toys to bring to the table. Sam Presti has 34 picks the next 7 years. 18 first rounders! Thats like a kid in the candy store. Only need one or two of the projected picks to “suprise” and you can change a franchise for ever. Small move aggregate works for SAS as they seem on the verge of lottery over the last few years but seem to just do a lot of things right and hang in there. They tear it down on the fly. Miami boring and then one day we wake up and there they are relevant as fuck after a few steps back. They got Olidipo and kept Robinson and Herro. Take down Olidipo to about a 20mm player and maybe he is not so awful a contract if they resign him. Riley will pay him and it will be fascinating to see what happens. He makes it look easy.
Ok, lets get that RJ dunk and get excited for our young rising player!

With all due respect to RJ, that was on Tyler Herro.
I doubt he could guard Nalod on the baseline, even at this late stage in his tennis career.

Yeah it was still a nice bit of quickness but Herros D on that was terrible. Got completely on the wrong side of him there but RJ did well to punish.

No props huh? Can’t even fathom the spin we so good it made Herro look bad? That he recognized the defense was out on the perimeter? That Spo did not yell at his guys? Miami played gave him no help. Maybe they will respect him a bit more? But.........that was a nice “OH SHIT!!!!” Moment. IM taking it.

Maybe the Maple Mamba makes it into the next Sprite commercial?
