Ya'll think Lonzo was impressed?

Gotta stop the Kobe comparisons -- they jinx him.

Those knees have to be taking a beating. You gotta think losing weight will extend his career.
Noel doesn't play and somehow Obi gets less minutes than normal...lol

OMG I didn't even realize Kira was on the court

Yeah he was a non factor. Hell eventually come around but man does he need some size.
Feel like if I was the Pelicans coach I wouldn't mind if Ingram ate a few hot dogs between quarters

Definitely wasn’t me. Lol. I don’t think I ever actually compared him to anyone.

Wasn’t directed at you! Or anyone really....
Great win.
Seems like RJ is mentally exhausted after being so incredibly awesome for so long. Hopefully he comes out refocused and recharged next game. Fortunately we didn’t need Maple Mamba to win this one.
With that, the Knicks are back up to the 6th seed, a half game in front of Miami and a full game ahead of Charlotte.
Beating the Mavs is going to be hard. Luka has been pulling off miracles this season.
Zion fat or is he just something we have never seen before on an NBA court? His arms are huge. I don’t see fat, I see a ball of muscle who defies nature. Since we have not seen a body type do this, we can’t logically think he can sustain a 10 year career but to say “he is fat” might be a bit of an pedestrian statement.
I’d say he has been thoroughly evaluated by experts and either has ignored their suggestion he lose weight, he is lazy, or he is a superior power force of nature.
He looks bigger than ever thats for sure. His arms are massive!
End of game he was quite chummy with some knicks, suprised to see him hanging with Frank for a bit.
Post writes drivel that we need to get Zion here...........Who wouldn’t. Starphuch newspaper crap.
I’d worry about paying a big price in a trade given his physical anomaly.
The knicks should win atleast 3 games against teams with better record than them and handle the games against lower teams so the knick can have a shot at securing the 6th seed giving them time to rest for the playoffs proper. I hope they can beat the Mavs next game.
Its a welcome change of pace talking about playoff seeding late in the season instead of talking about the lottery position! I hope the knicks can finish the season strong!
If you check the last 20-25 games we’ve been pretty damn good. Just check it
A bucket or two here or there and we’d be looking at an amazing stretch especially considering the roster

We've played well, especially the last 7 games. We've also had a little luck mixed in as we have faced some teams missing some of their top players like the Raptors, Lakers and the Pelicans. 6 of our next 7 are at home so we have a good opportunity to put some distance between us and the 8th, 9th and 10th seeds. We play the Pels again who may or may not be whole...We also have Charlotte who is battling injuries and Toronto as well....
Anyone have a good idea on our chances at finishing at 6th? I want to try and avoid a play in and make it to the real playoffs.

this is all true but take a look back. There were many games we lost super close ones, and IF (yeah i know) we won those super close ones we'd be on an 18-6 stretch.
we're a player away (either import or from development) from being bona fide respectable; as it is i don't think anyone at the moment takes us for granted

Kind of hard to project at this point. We are in control but it's going to be a horse race.
One slight consolation is that whoever is in 7th will face off against the Bulls (currently 22-32). So as long as we don't fall to 8th, I think we'll be okay. But I would love to avoid that extra game (or god forbid two games).
Edit, I checked and got that wrong. 7 plays 8. The loser plays the winner of 9-10. Now that I see that, avoiding it is a big plus.
