Because, maybe people have seen him play on more than one occasion...If we are judging by one game, the Lakers are probably ready to offer Payton a Max deal based on the way he played against them.
Lol, funny thing... Don't judge players on how they play against us. Our d makes them have worse games than they usually have.

I totally would like to have Adams here.

Yeah...I'd rather take my chances with that Australian pt guard, who I've never seem play.
I’d rather try and get Deangelo Russell, Minnesota will not keep him if they draft Jalen Suggs or Cunningham.
Lonzo Ball does not impress me considering the money it would cost to sign him.

So you want to get a worse shooter, worse passer, and significantly worse defender on a worse contract. Make it make sense.

I was against bringing him back after his first go round with us -- glad I was wrong!
watched the first half, then followed the second by phone. Was lucky enough to get back home for the end of OT. WHat a great, gritty team effort
What is truly bizarre is feeling that we have several players who may be coveted in FA and we'll have the tough decision of whether to keep and how much, e.g., Burk, Noel, Julius [soon enough]
When is the last time we had a problem like that?

Stan, how do you feel about the play?

Damn didn’t know that
wasn't it game 1 of the 1st round of the playoffs

Knox was pretty wide open as well, but either way it was super solid execution of the play.
These are same plays we were botching in those close games we lost with guys trying to play HERO BALL.
Randle and rose made some smart decisions down the stretch, and the awareness on both ends was so awesome. It's like we learned from those close losses.
The last time Rose was a knick, we lost 17 games that were decided by 5 points or less, basically him and melo trying to play HERO BALL

Russell is actually the better shooter, especially when you consider the shots he created, and their passing isn't far off. Ball is the better defender, no question. My problem with Russell, and Ball to a greater extent, is that their effectiveness can be greatly diminished in the half court. Yeah, Russell has a solid mid-range game, but it's streaky.

Yep, both are from Chicago and accidents happened within hours of each other.
Gotta say, for someone who is suppose to be our best perimeter defender, Frank made two incredibly stupid defensive plays that could've been costly if we didn't pull this out.

But when he is on the floor at the end we win. Thibs' good luck charm.

Both arnt perfect but bottom line is that this team needs a PG who can create and space the floor in the worst way.
