Starting Rose would mean an Elf/Quickley backcourt. In addition to wear and tear to Rose. We wouldnt be one of the better benches in the league anymore.

Even with Payton starting, we're winning games. We might not see a dropoff with Rose starting, but we likely will see a bigger dropoff with Payton running the second unit.

Thats not going to happen, which is why I didnt mention it. My scenario would be the likely outcome of Elf being pulled from the starting lineup. If a defense obsessed coach like Thibs thinks Frank doesnt bring enough offense. He wont get the minutes until he does.
