Anybody remember somebody starting a thread about how DSJ was quietly emerging in Detroit. Must have been very quiet because he's been garbage there too. Followed the same script as here, had a couple of encouraging games when he first got there, then settled into who he really is.

If you're creative, you could look at the KP trade has us receiving Randle, Rose and two 1st round picks for Porzingis.

We definitely won the trade, even if those first round picks don’t pan out. Even if KP were healthy, Randle still is a better player.

One person doesnt deserve all the credit. Leon brought in Thibs/Rose/Noel. Drafted Quick from a Perry pick. Loosely speaking its been a collaboration. Started with the foundation Perry put down. And built up by Rose and his new hires. Hard to find a more seemless transition between regimes.

A big reason being that Perry and Rose have demonstrated that they both bring something to the table. Makes sense to keep things the way they are. Enough of a sample size to say that Perry has earned an extension.

Imagine if Perry and Mills had also matched the Hornets offer to Rozier that offseason too, then would would have added Rozier to the haul

I was dubious when we re-acquired Rose. Not because of anything we gave up and I considered it worth a flyer. but his first tour here left me with a very negative impression. Well whether it's Thibs or maturity or the team or whatever -- clearly his play and presence have given the team a big leap forward. Salute.

He’s an absolute integral part of the rotation. Just hope we are able to resign him on a “ team friendly “ deal. Thibs to Rose - I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine scenario...
