Raptors see Trent as a younger Powell that still has team control. Likely that Powell would walk after the season.

And on the Portland side of things, Powell prob better than Trent and they need to do whatever they can do upgrade talent while they have prime Dame.

Powell will get a Levert/Randle/Harrison Barns type contract... depending on structure and market $15mm-$25mm per year. Would 4 years and anything between $60mm-$100mm surprise anyone?

That was my thinking. Think @ $20M per there will several teams interested. Think that will stretch offers to the $22-$23M. Do not know if anyone would go to $25m. But who knows.

Would you still want him for that much? As mentioned, I like him but trying to decide if there would be better value with someone else?
