I was about to say the same thing. If the Hawks are going to score 42 in a quarter vs the sixers maybe our defense was still good. We just might have under estimated how good their offense is.

He did a good job and they got the playoffs his first years there. Injury was a legit issue. woj reported he did not want back. That tells me is has enough money no wants to walk away with his health or take a break. Last two years not easy even though they were not bubble team.

He has an offer from Indy, or somewhere else. Magic are a rebuild on a rebuild. Working for Devoss family might not be all that much fun. That he’d want reject being extended to an assistant gig under Thibs seems a bit unlikely. Maybe a year rest, do some Tv with the understanding you’d likely get a gig down the road is a possibility. But then look at MDA walking away from HOU and assistant now in brooklyn!

Openings......Boston, Potentially Indy, Portland, maybe DC? Brooks that safe? Walton in Sac seems about cooked They finished really well!! Maybe Kidd sees the Orlando opening or others as better than Portland?

Hopefully Luca can pass this good in the NBA.

I think it might be a little early to call it but it may be in Mavs interest to completely offload KP’s contract.
