That's how I feel too- I like Monty a lot and he's done a great job, but if you switched coaches this year (This as Suns and Monty as Knicks), would Monty have gotten the same results as Thibs?

No doubt in my mind that if we had CP we would have the best record in the NBA and contednering for a title this season.
But some of you were so hung up on his contract and age and thought OKC was a fluke, well look at them now(OKC) and look at the SUNS.

They showed the winning % of each team that CP had joined, every single one took a leap in the standings, and his teammates played at a higher level MENTALLY...we withstood a lot of teams comeback this yr, but against the suns, CP killed us
STILL...At the end of the day, THIBS deserved that award, a 20 win improvement shattering projections..

I love the play in. one game. Means there is so much riding on the line.
Maybe they should ditch the playoffs and have several 1 game competitions- or perhaps go like they do in some of the soccer playoffs - 1 home game each, combine the scores!
