Now I don’t have a team to hate.

Lucky you. I still despise this Bucks team and absolutely deplore the 76ers. For whatever reason I can tolerate the Hawks but I’d really prefer a team in West winning it all.
Durant is an amazing Basketball player....wow
I like to eat my crow with Ketchup , did not think the Bucks had the heart to win this series after game 5 collapse ..I hate the Nets so Lmfao

Harden is actually scum for the way he played tonight. Even Trae dosent flop half as much as he does.

This will be allowed. But store brand, not Heinz.
Never disliked the Nets at all and in fact really liked the personality of some Nets teams. But the failure of these phony Super Friends - whose coming together was fodder for trite Knicks clowning
ad nauseum - well I am tickled f@#king pink.
The league has some shit they gotta fix. The bullshit calls are a disgrace. A new breed of “superstars” will make this game unwatchable.

Maybe I can muster some hate for Atl. I’d like to see Phoenix come out of the west.
I also don't want to hear any excuses about Nets injuries. Not having enough money to build a bench good enough to withstand injuries is part of the risk you take to pay 3 superstars max money. They made their choice and it did not workout for them.

I have no feelings about the Bucks and I agree, definitely rooting against the 76ers. If they go down I can enjoy the rest of the playoffs and not care about the outcome.

Agree. I will say, KD did everything he could. Nearly 100 total points in two must win games. He might be soft off the court, but he brought it when it counted.
Clean wrote:How can people watch Harden play every game. I hate players that flop with a passion and every time I look at the screen he flops. How are the refs falling for every single one of them? Harden is known to flop but they blow the whistle every time. That shot where he kicks out his legs and falls whenever anyone is near him is so ugly to look at. I am seriously considering turning this off.
Me too- Harden and Blake Griffin are so difficult to watch because of their antics- I struggle to watch a full game with them in it! Trae Young too (and Luka with his constant prayer-whining)

This was genuinely one of the most boring OT game 7 playoff games I've watched due to the constant flopping, foul calls, players staying on the floor once they've fallen/flopped- brutal, plus the Nets fans are weirdly subdued considering it was a close game 7, maybe they get bored of all that stuff too.

Me too- didn't think the Bucks had it in them but Giannis put in a beast of a performance while his teammates struggled (and Brook Lopez almost sunk them with the biggest bonehead play since JR Smith!)

He's a great, great player, that's what makes his off court persona so frustrating- I just can't root for him because of it

If anything, it shows why he's going to get max. Even players you think should be 1b get max level contracts.
Disagree. Without Middleton Bucks would not be as successful as they have been this year. Without Randle Knicks would be exactly what they were before. A joke. Middleton was a big part in turning the series around with his 35 and 15. That's what you want from a max. Something Randle is capable of.
Congrats to Middleton and Giannis for reaching the ECF.
Watched the game with my buddy who really was like Rooting for Bucks because of Giannis, and then said he liked Griffith, was a fan of Durants when in OKC but put off by his free agent moves, Respected Hardens play, and was thinking kyrie is not liked by teammates. WE talked and he was off base. HE figured if Boston fans were hating then t must be the team hating.
Basically he is either a fan of some players and considered others “villains”. He does not have a team and thus sees NBA as individual stars and roots for them or not. Found it interesting and really its very typical of many basketball fans. We have hero’s and villians.
We all have our own fandom and viewership values.
Harden was a shell of himself. MIlwaukee had relative health of its big guns sans DiVchenzo. I’m happy for them as a team that has moved thru the last few years to get here. Nets are not a team but a “merger of talent” and thus I find no affinity for them. I’m cool with enjoying guys Ike Harden (When healthy), Kyrie and Durant perform. Great talents.
I root for knicks and outside of that don’t hate on others. To each their own.
It’s crazy that the series went to game 7, and was decided in large part to Durant being an inch or so over the 3 point line in the final seconds of regulation.
That’s a tough pill to swallow.
I must admit though, the schadenfreude is glorious.
