I think they did the right thing, sometimes you have to protect players from themselves- his desire to compete is probably weighting his judgement right now.

Two great players, with two great acting jobs, making it look like they've just been shot!

Hope Lebron's okay, he lost an eye in the elimination game, now he's taken a bullet to the shoulder

Then the sniper gets CP3!

There only two people who could make that shot from that distance. Dame is busy playing, so it must've been Steph Curry!

I'll say it. Derrick Rose got robbed. Jordan had a nice season, but Rose was responsible for one of the biggest turnarounds in recent history. Our players getting snubbed left and right.

Still don't understand how Utah had TWO 6th man candidates.

Guessing it's a makeup for when Mitchell get snubbed for All NBA.

Nalod @ 5/25/2021 1:46 PM
Speaking of Mitchell, is he pulling a diva act with Utah for sitting out? I mean he wants to play and thats all good but why is he being held out one more game? Is his ankle a bit still weak?
Why take this shyt public? Does he force the team to make a public statement about why after the story is now out? Its not like Utah ownership which includes DWade wants to lose!

This the disgruntled diva we been waiting for? Mitchell pulling a Jimmy Butler move?

ccch @ 5/25/2021 4:55 PM
Lets see what Thibs can come up with for game 2. One thing for sure, he has to do something different to stop Trey...we can't let him beat us again. Double teams, take away the paint and force him to make 3's, box and 1, or combinations of all and more, but they must over compensate and take him out of the game.

Right?! Shouldn't one of them be SEVENTH MAN?!

Nalod @ 5/25/2021 10:41 PM
I agree with Rose being 6th man but perhaps he spend a good third of the season NOT playing for knicks and Clarkson was full season for team that came in 1st place.

He is 7’3 with a miserable f*ck face and this dumb ass sticks out like some mutant aryan!
Slowly he is losing fans in Dallas with crap like this.

If the Clippers exit the 1st round, can Paul George or Kahwai be available in the offseason? Are anyone of them still worth pairing with Randle and RJ?

Didn't watch game two, but in game 1 he definitely played with Elfrid-Payton style energy

He had a good shooting game and attitude was improved. They are up 2-0. Be a bad look for come off miserable. Actually it would be a feat of a massive asshole that even he would find hard to accomplish.

If Kawahi leaves they have to trade out PG13 for picks and do a Nets rebuild. They went all in on this and Balmer will learn valuable rookie owner lesson. They also building their own arena.
It will be a mess if after going all in in two years they only have one playoff series win to show for it.
Can’t say its on GM Lawrence frank if Balmer himself is driving the direction of the team the last 3 seasons.

Meanwhile Miami apparently in some PR lock down as it was reported Jimmy is not happy. Jimmy might have ruined Herro? I like Jimmy. But Jimmy seems to cross lines. Jimmy left Thibs because the Minny Kids were soft. Maybe a reunion is needed? Knicks should have plenty of leverage in getting a decent trade for him as Miami might not have many suitors. I can imagine they prefer he go out west then see him 4 times a year and in the playoffs perhaps. Not sure Jimmy fits with RJ and Randle. Talent usually finds a way.
Jimmy is a year or two away from coming off the bench as an Igudala type super sub/finisher on a great team.
We will be that team in few years.??

The knicks might have more offseason targets to choose from. If playoff teams like the Heat, Clippers, Celtics get kicked out of the 1st round they might opt to press the reset button and part ways with their superstars! Of these three teams, which star player you want to head to the knicks? I might want Jalen Brown or Kahwai. Im worried about chemistry issues and fit of Butler with RJ. George seems to be on a decline. If we can somehow get Brown and an upgrade at the starting point guard spot yhe knicks can be competitive for years to come.

Depends on the price paid for each. PG13 I’d just assume pass on given the money and cost to trade. Leonard is cap space which gives us options. The basis is Clips are boxed in and winning becomes the issue. But, they are in So Cal and have some internal growth potential. Kawhai is a different cat. Jimmy will have a limited market and perhaps Thibs/Knicks would be the only team interested. If so a first and Obi might be enough. I could be way off. I’m not a trade prediction kind of guy. Miami keeps things close to the vest. For all we know they worked it out. Jimmy has endorsements to Look after and can’t burn more bridges. I think jimmy could be good for Rj but he’ll be hell on him.
