These are the picks 17-60 who I feel could help.
Pick 1 Chris Duarte
Pick 2 Vrenz Bleijenbergh/cam Thomas/Corey kispert/Alperen Sengun
Pick 3 Ayo dosunmo/Kofi cockburn
Pick 4 josh Christopher/Ibou dianko badji
(Imo stick with the above)
The flawed intersting picks
Pf/c Isiah Jackson - can’t shoot/thin/raw
Pf/c Jeremiah Robinson-Earl good D no 3
C Day-Ron sharpe
Isaiah Todd raw/thin/Knox similar to Knox production
Nahshan hyland - doesn’t get downhill well. Not a great passer. doesn’t get to line that much doesn’t finish well
McBride - can’t finish. no layups. Can’t change speed. No runner/floater shot. gets blocked a lot going to rim. back door candidate defensive lapses
Jared butler - is he worth trading all of our picks to get?
Davion mitchel - is he worth trading all our picks to get? Solid but a line drive driver who can be stopped be a team with good rim protection. Plays D well. Shoots well.
My 19/20 are Dosunmu/Brown still.
Haven’t heard much more on Cockburn. Not showing up in the mocks I have seen. I’d happily grab him with those two. Though I think we may need to look at some stash players. Don’t think Thibs will know what to do with so many rookie players.

Yea only 1 player I would think would be a serious bench player who might see a few minutes this year.
The other 2 would be stash
Yea brown has good upside potential
Dosunmo only glaring flaw to me is his handle gets loose at times time and his shot might be sketchy.
Cockburn interests me because he has the pure size 6-11 300 pounds to match up against the huge centers in the league. Just makes us a well rounded team
Duarte is this year’s Desmond Bane. An nba ready rookie who can contribute but his age bumps down his stock. He’s a great option for us. Butler and Dosunmo are the 2 other nba ready prospects who might be had in the 20-25 range. Butler might go a little earlier. To me he’s a lottery value guard. If he’s there you grab him. There’s some interesting players available. I doubt the Knicks just stand pat with 4 picks and don’t consolidate at all.
Don't see Kispert lasting to us. Anyone that is viewed as a sharp shooter will get taken early nowadays.
Wonder if Rose would package both picks to move up, and if so how far up we could get (maybe adding the Detroit 2nd). Top 10?

The value of the picks drops drastically from the beginning to the end of the draft and I don't think there's a chance that you'll get to the top 10 that way.

Might be better served to trade one of these picks for future picks honestly. Eventually could land in the lottery or continually build up the war chest to land a star.

Yes i can easily just see them deferring the pick. Keep the war chest full. That holds more valuable than drafting 3 prospects on a team like the Knicks the way they are put together now.

So often we traded draft picks thinking we were 1 move from being good, and that bit us hard.
I trust Rose & Scott Perry.
But I do think this off season, we have to look at packaging up some assets like our 3 picks, Knox & maybe Robinson to get a star type PG.
Does Toronto say no to that package for FVV? Is that enough to get Lonzo Ball?
My bet is that these two picks will be dealt for a proven star. If not hoping Kispert or more likely Mann falls to us.
I’m in the mindset of trading up to get one of these:
Bouknight
Jared Butler
Tre Mann
Moody*
Giddey*
And then using a 2nd to get a floor spacing big:
Charles Bassey
Vrenz
Sandro Mamu
Filip Petrusev*
*May not be attainable
