Our star is totally lost and bereft of confidence. It's hard and sad to watch.

We're running with 19/20 Randle this series.

Echo...echo...echo

Low confidence...

Dribble into defenders/traffic to nowhere, turnover or this time pass out

Don't mind me, I'm clearly too distracted by the riveting play this past quarter to read half a page earlier 😁

The empty arenas may play a biiger role in Randle and Barrets success this season than I thought. If this continues the rest of the playoffs Id hold off giving him a new contract

That's what it's gonna take.

Cardiac Knicks

I'm going to do what helped them last time - stop watching. It's too painful to watch.

Something in the playoffs that matters a lot - having a wing/guard that is able to attack, break down the defense.

Without Rose, we'd be down 20+ and they'd call the series early.

BRIGGS @ 5/28/2021 8:32 PM
The biorhythm of the team is now off by starting Rose and Gibson.

Making matters worse is we don’t have the 41 win Julius rather the 21 win Julius.

The length of the hawks bothering us and trae is best player on court

ramtour420 @ 5/28/2021 8:33 PM
Every damn possession is one on one. With a possible kick out which feels like a great basketball play. Except it's not, it's too basic.

I think I missed why Gibson got the start if Noel still available, but we've had rough goes last 2 games even with MSG rocking. I worry what we would be looking at it we didn't have Rose out there from the start.

Crowd not gonna carry them tonight. If your best guys are playing with no confidence there isn't much you can do. Randle and RJ have to wake up period. Inexcusable to have them play like this for the first 3 games.

Didn't understand starting Gibson unless it was cut of Noel's. Injury.

Noel's ankle may limit his minutes tonight according to the reports.

You know who wouldn't have frozen in the playoffs? Austin Rivers. He might've gone 2-9, but it would be more impactful than whatever Payton is doing.

Starting Rose and Gibson have nothing to do with this...In fact, starting Rose pre ended us from getting blown out earlier. Bottom line, Our astar that carried us offensive all year is playing timid and scared and our second best player is playing worse. Meanwhile, Trae is by far the best player in this series.

We are asking them to go one on one every time. I like how Randle can even make the pass to Noel in the paint. Never mind that Noel has 0 post moves to take advantage of his deep position. Noel can only score on lobs and Outbacks. Where is his 12 foot shot we saw earlier

Alright now, we still have a game to win
Kemet @ 5/28/2021 8:41 PM
What happen? Well we put RJ Barrett back into the game, and the Hawks go on a 22-5 run, we called two time-outs to try to stop the run, but having Barrett in the lineup it was like 4 Knicks players against 5 Hawks players. Do not put Barrett in the game when Capela's on the court.

Jmpasq wrote:Pathetic performace from Barrett and RJ. Fricken sad how bad these guys are playing

RJ's performance I can accept far more than Randle. He's a very inexperienced and young player despite his maturity.

I think he's trying to make up for Randle. The whole damn team is and only Rose is reliable on a consistent level.

Randle's our by far leading player, an All-Star who averaged a 24 ppg, had MVP chants hurled at him and was a dominant force.

BUT..

This was an unusual season and he had an ATROCIOUS performance the season before where I sure was ready to move on, and I think he's a really cool dude and is talented.

This was always the perils of relying on someone like that who was such a late bloomer in a weird season.

Who are the big late bloomers you can think of?

Nash
Billups
Oladipo

Oladipo is one who did fall off but he had a knee injury.

Randle is a very different personality than Nash and Billups.

HE actually does remind me more of a far more talented Charles Smith, who was a scorer on the Clippers, but they were a BAD team.

There were long stretches this season Randle looked like a Lebron-lite without the hops.

The team relied on him MANY games.

Now they seem to have lost their trust. I don't blame them.

It's gotta be confusing and frusrating.

On a few stretches this season did he struggle.

RJ was awful earlier in the year and some like Macri wanted him possibly gone or lost faith.

Randle? WE NEED THIS MFer

Julius zoned out here. Throwing a cross court path to (what would have been) the Hawks bench. Then jogging on defense away from the ball as Capella right behind him with a clear path.
