The story is as follows: 10 years ago the Fossil watch company
bradster @ 11/2/2004 6:55 PM
oops...The Fossil watch company manufactured 1500 NY Knicks 1994 NBA world champion watches...they also made 1500 Houston Rockets 1994 NBA world champion watches..when the Knicks lost in 7 games the watches were to be returned to the manufacturer but several dozen were sold in error by Macy's in the NY area.I purchased a few dozen and have sold them over the years..i have a handful left that i'm selling to people on this forum for the same price i paid 10 years ago.....$70.00 (price is marked on the box) plus 7.00 for shipping. Each watch is individually numbered on the caseback, has the knicks logo on the dial, comes with a letter of authenticity from Fossil and has the NBA hologram sticker for authorized merchandise. This is the rarest limited edition Fossil watch that exists (it really shouldn't)The first watch up for sale is numbered 716/1500.Brand new, never worn guaranteed! Any questions or comments please email me at bmg1956@earthlink.net Thanks,Brad

dude, Fossil sucks... you get those at every street corner for 10 clams.
teslawlo @ 11/2/2004 7:18 PM
First of all... I agree, that is quite a price to pay for a fossil watch.
Second of all, bradster, at least post something related to the knicks before spewing your ad on us
I'd be interested if I valued watches more than I currently do

Is this the fallout we will have to deal with after the NY Times publicity?
bradster @ 11/2/2004 7:51 PM
Hey it's not a Rolex It was a limited edition of only 1500 (each numbered) and retail price was 70.00...NONE SHOULD EXIST because the Knicks lost to the Rockets and were not NBA champs..They should have been returned to Fossil to be destroyed or used for parts...the salespeople behind the counter at Macy's screwed up and sold several dozen to the public...i bought most of them and now i'm down to a handful..not making a nickle on these...just looking to move on to other things..

Brad,

Thanks for the heads up. It ain't like a "Dewey defeats Truman" kind of thing.

Thanks for not trying to gauge the prices.

Thought I doubt it sounds like too many interested.

Even if they win, I ain't gonna buy no comemerative anything! I hate that crap.

Sell it on E-bay.
