Mr. Powell's queasiness with some of the intelligence has been well known, but the new revelations suggest that long after he had concluded the intelligence was faulty, Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney and Mr. Libby were still promoting it.

Talk about a deal with the devil. This war won him a 2nd election and cost him infamy for posterity.

Agreed! That also goes for Colin Powell. Got into a position of power only to see his credibility come under attack every other day. I actually blame Powell a lot for this mess in Iraq. How come he did nothing to stop these guys into ruining the last 4 years? He could've come out and said that these guys are full of crap. He would risk his career but his conscience would be clear. He doesnt have much of a career left anyway now that he walked out on the Republicans in power!

Also, the next administration will have to deal with the mess G. W. Bush will leave behind. If the next President pulls out of Iraq, there is a good chance he will be blamed for the bloody civil/religious war that will break out in that region. They are just postponing the catastrophe till their term is over.

An all out war between the Shiites in Iraq and Iran against the Sunni's and the Sunni Wahabi's in the rest of the Arab world will leave behind a very very messy and unstable middle east. That war will go on for atleast 2 or 3 years and the region will turn into a new breeding ground (see Afghanisthan) for groups like the Hezbollah and the Al-Qaeda. This will damage many peace processes around the world such as the one between India and Pakistan. It could also lead to more terrorist attacks on American soil. I dont know why a bigger deal is not being made out of this. It is a very serious situation and its being ignored by the media.

VIDEO: Bush Event Goes Off Script
This morning in Charlotte, a Bush PR event on the war on terror went off-script when a man named Harry Taylor took the microphone. Watch the video:

I saw the video on CNN's online video thing but didnt know how to link to that. But seriously, the event was full off his followers who are in serious denial! The dood actually says he taps the phones in the terrorist surveillance program! Please, as if terrorist were stupid enough to use phones that could be tapped and/or traced. This administration stinks of evil. A bunch of BS!

as far as I know, thats has been the most popular Bush humor source. I dont visit it that often but I had to just to find something for this thread. This is the only thread I as a Knick fan can contribute to anymore. The Knicks have left me with no choice.
