Ha, its Woj (Lakers trading for Hield) vs Shams (Lakers trading for Westbrook). I’d be interested to see Westbrook on that Lakers squad, but maybe Hield is the better fit.

if we keep our first three picks we should save 32 for some bouncy big, if there's a good one left. i've looked over the last 10 years or so of the draft and for whatever reason 32 seems jinxed. You have Montreze and Zubacs in that slot, and we know we got Mitchell a couple picks later. At 32 there is a long history of "who the heck was that".

I have zero clue as to who we'll pick at 19 and 21 but i suspect he will have to be tough-minded, competitive, and athletic even if not a sexy pick. I don't think we're getting someone who is essentially just a shooter -- and hopefully get better at the other stuff. if that were the case KK would have gotten more burn last year. I do imagine we may go after someone who can score and is athletic but has to work on other stuff (e.g., Cam Thomas).

How do the Lakers always get who they want with next to no assets and we are always used for leverage or have to overpay for everything?

Gotta assume this sets up a Beal exit?

Didn't have time to write touts for Josh Primo and/or Kessler Edwards, but both would be value picks in the 2nd round. Primo would be great value for slot at 32. ( He could go late 1st round and still qualify for V4S) Edwards would project more into the 40s range.

I don't think Moses Moody would fall that far, but if he does, I hope the Knicks take him at 19. Then I like Primo as a late 1st ( if the Knicks can trade back a little) or at 32. I hope Aaron Henry falls to 58 and the Knicks take him there. Kessler Edwards, the Knicks would need to pick up another 2nd in the 40s range to get him. I like Moody, Primo, Henry and Edwards in that order.

I am consistently hearing Ziaire Williams name pop up. Before it was Kai Jones but I don't think he falls that far. If ZW falls that far to 19, I have a strong feeling the Knicks take him.

I don’t understand this trade either- why are the Cavs taking on an extra few million in salary (Rubio on $17mil vs Prince on $13mil)? Thought they wanted to shed salary in a Sexton deal?

Maybe Sexton is also being traded?

Would be the first time in NBA history a former league MVP has been traded in three consecutive off-seasons.
