Sounds more like his agent failed him. But the Knicks should monitor him. Maybe bring him in like they did with Kuz in a year or two.
I was hoping we walked out with Duarte these other guys are really secondary talents. I think we will be second guessed from a few players. Who knows???

Looks like we had no chance with Duarte. The moves we made I think are genius. They didn't have the player they wanted at 19 so they punted and got a future pick that can be the same or a little better. 21 they did the same as last year and got a player that can shoot. Same with the 2nd round. I think we did really well.
Jonathon Macri was pretty much correct with his pre-draft predictions as to who we'd end up with:

No I get it. We got the same thing at 25 34 36 that we wanted at 19-21. I’m just disappointed in some ways events didn’t go our way on the top end I guess
Watching this unfold live was brutal and depressing ( and funny if you were watching some of the Knick fans live reactions on Knicksfilm school and Knicks fan tv etc). But looking back at the whole thing, we did alright. We tried to move up but we couldn't, so we landed the players we wanted while picking up a 1st and a 2nd.

This one boggled me as well
We should have tanked right?

Nice :)

Wrong.
Because that means that all 5 of Immanuel Quickley, R.J. Barrett, Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson and Tom Thibs would've all stunk.
And we would've finished as a bottom 5 team instead of the NBA's 11th best overall record.
CBS sports at it again. The said the Knicks were draft day losers and graded a C+. That means the Knicks probably did a good job.
I have a good feeling about all 1st 3 picks the knick made in the draft. I think they all have the potential to be steals of the draft. It will help that Thibs are into both Deuce and Grimes giving them a chance to be part of the rotation next year!
It’s only highlights but McBride looks like a stud in his.

If you wanna be picked by NY, show up at the NBA Combine.

Didn’t those clowns give us a C- last year for drafting IQ?
