Last season, he led the West Virginia Mountaineers in scoring (15.8 ppg), assists (4.9), steals (1.9), and three-point percentage (41.4%).
Yeah, it’s only Summer League. I get it… but… he is averaging 25.5 minutes over the first two games in Las Vegas. McBride has averaged 11 points, shot 53 percent from the field and 28% from range. He has looked good driving to the rim and using his massive wing span to interrupt passing lanes. He has the DNA of Marcus Smart and I’m cool with that.
This week, Deuce McBride signed a three-year contract.
Have we ever had a player with hair anywhere close to Knicks orange?

Nice assist Martin. Thank you.
Might be my new favorite knick. Love his toughness...his grit. And 2 way potential.

A bowling ball. Even if his first step isn't the best, defenders will get tired of the pounding he gives them when he attacks.

I agree. He’s going to be a favorite. I love his future here.
Deuce can really defend on the ball - he just really tracks the dribble/ball well and gets over screens nicely.
Doesn’t look like he will ever be a blow by guy with the ball but as he gets stronger the D will play and his mid-range & 3 shooting will also play.
Could grow into a M Smart type if he gets stronger and maybe a tad quicker thru physical development.

Not to mention the SHOES!
Kinda (Orange and) Blue
“It’s just about taking shots in the flow of the game. The first game I rushed a lot of shots. I watched the game with coaches and tried to understand the game more and find where the best shots are. That’s what I did today.’’
Miles McBride dropped 22 points, made all six of his 3-point shots, had seven rebounds and five assists.
Did I mention he also plays savage defense?
Gotta be the hair.

Gotta love it
He's going to fit right into the "Plane to the gym" Randle club. Kid won't even need to change!
