The tools are there...The athleticism is off the charts. If he can develop a consistent jumper, he can be a perennial all star.

I saw some hawks fans complaining about his attitude in one of the games already which surprised me as I thought they'd be just hyped. That was his red flag, I guess.
We're prioritising team culture, defense and character in players, that means sometimes you sacrifice talent.

Not saying it will turn out like this, but the Knicks passed on Ron Artest because of attitude… that looked really stupid when he looked like the best two way player in the league… and then it looked really smart after the Malice at the Palace
Jalen Johnson seems like an extremely talented player who really only cares about himself

I motion we change this to top 3 knick rookies. Mcbrides shooting surprised me. He was my top rookie pick based on his toughness on defense. If his shot is consistent like it's been so far, he's by far my top KNICKS rookie. Grimes coming on late is starting to remind me of Allan Houston. His catch n shoot skill set is a great replacement for Bullock. I hope Mcbride and Grimes will find some playing time during the season.
Remember when DSJ dominated his rookie summer league and was voted most likely to win ROY by his teammates?

I like all our rookies---we did well imho. I just thought jalen green was the best player I saw. Jalen Johnson was the best wing player I saw Cooper was the best PG I watched. and Duarte looks a lot like klay thompson.

It wasn't even close. Don't get me wrong I think the Knicks drafted well ( I think they got solid role players ) but J Johnson is another level talent than the guys we drafted.

Cooper looked like McBride ate his Cheerios. Guy had no clue on defense and got caught with bad footwork over and over. Consistently in the wrong place or wrong position. He tapped out.
Not saying Cooper doesn’t have a chance, but his defense is suspect and needs work. He could use some GLeague time with a good coach.
