Why not make just one thread titled "Waaaaah, we didn't pick ______?" Or maybe -- we create an alternate universe where we picked Jones/Johnson/Cooper (or Cam Thomas) and we post regret threads of Grimes/McBride/Rokas highlights?

I knew something was funny when you didn't mention his Summer League stats. 28 minutes a game, 8 points, 38% FG percentage. Knicks could have a had Kai, but ended up with a more impressive looking players in Sims.
1. Its summerleague.
2. We have Mitch and Noel. We don't develop deep raw talent in this regime. There is a formula. We'll miss some. Its the nature of the beast.

Can’t tell if it’s a dunk, or a really angry and fast jump shot.

No disrespect to Kai but agree 100% with the above. Plus Jericho does a lot of important little things like box out, set picks, hustle

I have been on JSims from the jump. I saw that Sims dunk, and it was spectacular. The elevation he gets on EVERY dunk is insane.
Kai jones is very raw. LIke Bismarck Byumbo raw. Jordan likes Uber athletic kids and perhaps they are are down with giving him some time to develop. Thats not what we are doing with higher picks. Is it because we wired on Frank and Knox? Nope, its a different regime. Kai Jones has big potential but he has not shown to be a basketball player.
In this era we would not gamble on a Giannis type real specimen. Most of the time they don’t pan out.
Draft night they liked it becuase they can see him catching lobs from Lamelo. We have Norlens, Mitch, obi and now sims if he even makes the team.

Insanely raw player both physically and mentally who didn’t even play much in college. He’d would have been Frank minus defense here with even less minutes(if such a thing is possible)
Btw, the guy he dunked on couldn’t guard most of the posters on this message board let’s see him do that in a regular season game
