I have two homes in ct. one that has a 203 prefix the other( where I mostly stay) is 860. Here’s the deal. I get msg networks at the 203. Before crushalot got me on to hehe stream I literally had to travel back and forth 45 min just to watch the Knicks— and as a pscyco fan I used to do it. I was able to use he he stream the last two years which was incredible for me. The problem is he he streams is now gonzo. I don’t mind paying whatever but I can’t get the Knicks ( or atleast I couldn’t) on pay nba tv because it would still blackout. Where is my avenue to watch on tv in a non ny market albeit in the true state area. I’m bot worried about paying whatever either. It wouod suck if I had to go back to radio in 2021 especially if I’m willing to spend whatever it takes to watch??

Get blacked out

Maybe FuboTV or use the MSG Go App and pay someone who has MSG locally to let you use their account info. might be your best bet.
Nalod @ 9/3/2021 1:50 PM
Does Youtube TV carry MSG in the 203 if so Domicile the service to that local. IF you can get it in 860, even easier.

What happens if he tries the MSG GO app with his own account info?

If youre ok with some "borrowing" those types of streams these days are pretty high quality. I have a nice new laptop, I just connect it by hdmi to my tv directly and its great. The big problem is swatting away all the pop up ads when getting it going (even with a pop up blocker) but they dont come back once its going. And it hardly ever buffers or gets stuck if you have good wifi and a good laptop.

If you can’t, I wonder if you can spoof your location with a VPN.

But maybe it will just work.

You need to confirm your cable provider info when using that app to watch a game. So if BRIGGS is out of state, he won't be able to use it. He'll need someone in the tri-state area who uses FIOS, Spectrum or one of the other cable companies who carry MSG to give him the account info and pw.

Yup! Exactly like Netflix. You just need someone from the tri-state area who has MSG through their cable to give you their info so you can log in as if you're living in that tri-state area and have MSG already.

I agree with this. I use Private Internet Access as a VPN provider. It redirects your traffic to a particular city.

Some content providers are getting better at screening this type of stuff, but as long as you have enough bandwidth it might be worth signing up for the free trials to verify PIA+League Pass works

Since living in Florida and no longer Queens I just get NBA League Pass through my cable provider (Spectrum) and I love it.

$199.99 gets you the full package with all the games of every team and the 119.99 package includes just one team.

I always get the $199.99 package in order to enjoy other games during Knicks nights off from time to time and imo the extra $80 is well worth it.

I also order the MSG Network every basketball season too.

(It's more relaxing and convenient than having to stream games every night).

Im in CT and cant get it 1 state over and there is no pro nba team here. If you have 203 for a phone number you can get msg if you have 860 u cant. How Fd up is that? Why cant u universally pay for msg anywhere??? makes no sense
gradyandrew @ 9/4/2021 8:32 PM
I find 2021 hilarious because it's easier to watch Knicks games from China than from Connecticut.

So you have MSG in one home and not the other? What you can do is watch in your home without MSG using the computer and using the login from your other home.

Open browser and login to your account for your tv provider from your other home. Say you have optimum...sign in to optimum first in one tab. Once signed in then open another tab and go to msggo.com and login using tv provider. Select your tv provider from you other home which in this example is optimum. It will redirect you to the optimum login but since you are logged in the other tab it will authenticate. Now you can watch MSG.

Since you probably don't want to watch in a small laptop screen...connect your laptop to your TV via HDMI.
