Telfair, not suprised.
Big Baby? Big Trouble!!!
E-Rob? He was talked about a lot here.
Darius Miles, 3rd overall out of high school classic Clip pick. Made 62mil, bankrupt 6 years out of the league. Sad these guys have little to show when investment deals go bad and spending beyond sustainable levels.

these guys were just stupid. A few false claims is one thing but these guys took $4 million. They got caught like most people get caught- they got sloppy and they got greedy.

We've come along way from the days of Shaq sending money to a broke and injured Mikan. Why haven't the names of the unscrupulous health care providers been released? Judging by the amounts mentioned,a 7000 kickback on a 25,000 procedure it seems they are the real criminals here. Everyone is happy to commit insurance fraud but you need someone willing to lose their license over it. According to the indictment most of these procedures were taking place at the same providers,so why aren't they mentioned?

The articles I have read indicate that there is no healthcare provider involved.
One guy was selling receipts others could use to put in false claims for procedures they “paid” for and are seeking reimbursement on.

All these guys made millions in their careers and this stupid scheme got each of them a few 100k which is insane to risk your freedom for.

What makes this case all the more idiotic is these criminal masterminds were putting in the same claims on the same day on multiple occasions.

Two guys with same procedure performed on the same day and on the same tooth…. With identical receipts!! LoL. You can’t make up how stupid every single one of these guys involved is.

Doctors and Nurses do this s all the time. Write fake notes for shady people. Nothing ever happens. Most is a complaint to the state licensing board

It’s like the casino cheats in the Scorsese movie. If they weren’t so greedy they’d be harder to spot

These guys were skimming. Not a ton of money for the amount of players involved, but some extra disposable income for their pockets. Lots of well known role players on that list.
