Hell, I'll give him even more credit than that.

He knew he got it right 10-11 months ago, unlike 80-90% of Knicks fans that didn't have a clue.

I knew once we got Tom Thibs things were about to change.

Defense Wins Championships is a sports saying because winning mentalities are born through a Defensive mindset. My NYK Mentality goes back to the early 1990s. Defense. Heart. Fight. Toughness. Winning culture.

Tom Thibs is the best thing that's ever happened to our Franchise. Turned us around into the NBAs #1 Defense with a playoff birth during only year #1.

I only give James Dolan credit with our Knicks for doing what hes done with the Rangers and finally, just staying away. He's hired great front office basketball junkies and he's just signed the checks and let them build. I like that. Finally.

This Franchise has won 60 games 2x. 2021-2022 will become the 3rd I finally believe we're top 1-2 ECF contenders. No Knicks team has ever been this talented from top to bottom.

ATL beat us. It was our 1st year under Thibs. Swept them during the regular season 3-0 but lost in playoffs. Cool. Because here's Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier for more offensive fire power + Derrick Rose back to our firepower bench + Mitchell Robinson back to fight with Clint Capela. Etc. We're loaded. Obi TOPPIN is no longer a Rookie and neither is Immanuel Quickley. We're an NBA CONTENDER built around a soon to be Julius Randle NYC SUPERSTAR.

Thank You Mr. Dolan for getting out of your own way basketball in NYC is as exciting as ever!

no credit given. u guys are like abused spouses who want to sing praises when the beatings stop
VDesai @ 10/23/2021 4:39 PM
Nope. He hasnt learned - we just got a smart enough guy who has enough juice and stones to not fall pray to Dolan way.

Walsh had a brief moment where he almost got shit done - the rest of them didn't have a coherent philosophy

ToddTT @ 10/23/2021 5:51 PM
Whatever he’s been doing, it’s been working great.

I hope he can stay in the background until we’re being handed the championship trophy.

Then I don’t care if he’s on a float, dressed like Elton John, playing guitar and wailing like a dying wildebeest. I’ll be out there with horns up baby!

all right that’s good

I’ll be wearing earplugs.
BigDaddyG @ 10/23/2021 7:29 PM
Heck, I'll say it. Dolan is saint.......,...compared to Dan Snyder and Bob Sarver

+1. Maybe not the best example.

But, this guy has owned the team and really be incompetent at his job such that if that were any of us, we'd have been fired and shown the door.

But because he happens to have been born into a wealthy family, he has had a lot of chances to get it right, and he never did.

Could things be worse, could we have a more deficient human being own the franchise? Yea.

Could Dolan have continued to hire poorly? Yea.

About f'ing time he got someone in that knows how to manage him (at least we suspect) and build a winning culture.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

He’s not even the worst owner in NY anymore. Easily Woody Johnson is the worst local sports team owner by far

Nalod @ 10/24/2021 8:58 AM
Dolan hired Leon and thus far if he intervened its been positive.
Spike is back. Obviously they worked it out.
Fans not clamoring to sell the team, so it it should be ok for now.
Some fans just want attention and want to be thrown out.
Knicks are a private enterprise, not a public utility.
If we give Dolan shit when things go wrong its ok to praise upon when right.
We two games in. The knick love is flowing.

Cohen might be up there too - early but I've never been a fan of spending money as a way of getting talent. Jets are an outright disaster.

Cohen needs more than a year. So far not great by him but there’s potential there.

To say Woody has turned the Jets into a straight up dumpster fire would be too kind

Nalod @ 10/27/2021 8:12 AM
Dolan got t courtside and not cringe last night. Last season was without fans. Spike was happy, Dolan smiled, it was a good night vs. Philly!!! Seems spree is nicely in the fold.

Not sure where Dolan and Oak are in their beef and if its still in the courts.
One day I hope sooner than never Knicks will win a chip and Dolan gets the trophy. Not that I care for him, but that is the current reality.

knicks1248 @ 10/27/2021 9:35 AM
When you have a winning team, your not going to get much DRAMA from anyone.

The Fans won't be yelling "Sell the Team" when you blow out a division opponent that suppose to be better than you, they're more likely to be HIGH FIVING you..
