The good - I’m glad Grimes got 12 quality minutes. IQ is showing signs that he can point guard. Obi looks like he is always in beast mode.

The bad - Just about everything else.

Knicks offense is completely dependent on 3’s all of a sudden. There is no motion, except with the 2nd team and what the Knicks get coming out of timeouts in terms of shot selection is horrendous. Our 3 point D is really bad. While Rubio was lights out, Osman didn’t make a shot all night so it was a wash. Knicks got work to do, they just can’t show up.

agreed. this team can be quite good and can be quite bad. it was all perfectly on display in the atlanta series and continues into this season. it was quite evident even in our exhilarating 5-1 start.

i’m looking forward to seeing what thibs does to address the bad and how the players respond. games like last night are real disappointing, but the intrigue is in seeing how we harness our talents and make changes that will get us out of our protracted bad spells and bad habits.

Rubio just went 0-4 with 0 points a few nights ago against a Portland team that couldn't guard me. Suddenly he's found his inner Steph Curry.

Rubio Career really never took off as the 4th overall pick. “La Pistola” had some bad injuries and while fundamentally sound he never had the elite quickness for stardom. Still a good career and fun to watch.

Always wished we’d have him land here in some form.

That said, and as a hoop fan, I hated that we lost but I took away appreciation for his game and glad to see I caught a career night from him. Fucker has the best hair of anyone in the league! LOL It never looked out of place! LOL

Yup. I had the same feeling. I really thought we were going to be able to draft him or Curry. Then Minnesota did that dumb they did picking 2 PGs.
