I actually say we should flop over the starters and 2nd unit. Rose, IQ, Burks, Obi, Gibson.
Randle can be first off the bench, along with RJ.
I agree with the statement that maybe Kemba needs more time to rehab. Have Grimes come off the bench as your PG.
I said before yesterdays game the Mitch and Fournier should come off the bench or their minutes needs to be reduced.
The guys on the bench are only good for limited minutes as well, Rose and Burks are effective 25 minutes guys, beyond that they struggle.
Once we got back in the game, Randle and RJ should have came back in to finished it off
I'm giving this unit until Christmas. I really do not wanna mess with our bench cause it's one of the best in the league and our biggest strength. I also wanna give Kemba and Fournier every opportunity. Of course that can easily change if we fall under .500 and these type of losses continue.
From a coaches stand point, I think you can't make these drastic changes so early in the season. However, I think the first step is having a quicker hook on all players. You don't play defense you get yanked and you stay out. Similar to what they did to Payton last year.
Not sure what is up with Kemba but he looks done right now. IQ should definitely get those minutes. If Kemba does not play better by the end of the year, they will probably come up some fake injury so he can save face and sit him for the rest of the year until playoff time.

It's hard for undersized guards who lose their burst. He'll get hot from three and have scoring bursts, but that's hard to do consistently unless you're Steph Curry. Might need to force-feed him more PnRs.

hopefully out of the rotation

Yeah, but unless you start you own thread it kinda inhibits your confidence in the statement.
I saw some mention as Grimes as PG? Is he now the fix it kind of 3 positional bench hope dude?

But Fans can and think they are correct. After all, the though is “since we will lose, what do we have to lose, thus my suggetion is not better at its very worse then what thibs is doing and as a fan I have the benefit of hindsight. Yeah me!”

I agree....when you are 6ft and under, you rely on change of speed and first step to create separation. With Kemba's age and more importantly his injury history, he definitely lost a step or 2. Steph Curry is 6'3 and a much better shooter, so I'm not sure its a fair comparison. Steph is also being mentioned with some of the greatest NBA players ever.
Curry’s range is a weapon. It gives him space. He is not the quickest or the strongest. But even avg NBA guard speed is no joke and few can stay in front of. That ranges gives him penetration ability. His dad has good longevity because of the range an quick release. Steph is that much better. Not sure where his rankings goes but its high.
Nalod always be talking about not signing midget guards past 30. Chris Paul defies this and there are others. But Kemba is a very typical case in point. Kyrie is heading that way perhaps given his history. Phil Ford, Nate Archibald, Baron Davis are three all time greats struck down from injury.
Kemba at 8mm per is not a big risk. I hope like Hell I am wrong!!!!

I wasn't trying to compare the two, just that it's rare for guards to consistently score consistently solely with their Js. Especially with the new foul rules. Steph is an outlier. Kemba in his prime leveraged his quickness to be able to consistently get clean shots. This new Kemba is going to be prone to bouts of streakiness.

lol cause he's a liability like Rudy Gobert yeah? Man you are special
Rainman not happy unless he has someone to hate on………..
realistically, we should move Rose into the starting line up. I might also move Burks in as well.
Kemba reminds of when Jkidd was done he gave us a good half a year then his production when off the cliff.
Doesn’t look like Thibs is going to adjust much and even with Kemba looking washed I highly doubt he would be pulled from rotation.
Regarding moving IQ into unit 1 - I really don’t want to separate IQ from Obi or Rose.
My thought was moving Burks into Kemba spot with Grimes replacing Burke’s with unit 2.
Burke’s though not a pg does play pick/roll well and his size would give us nice switch ability maybe reducing double teams - open 3s. Plus he still spreads the floor but can handle/attack.
Grimes would be nice fit with Rose/IQ/Obi/Mitch on 2nd unit.

No Rose has great chemistry with unit 2. Id rather use IQ--hes not a pure PG and while an erratic shooter he brings energy and defense that Kemba does not. This might also help Julius cut down on the iso fall away BS and get him back to moving the ball.
I think Kemba might be used better in unit 2 or as injury step in. He cant play every game anyway.
