What happened to the Westchester shuttle? Why aren’t we using the G League to get game minutes for McBride, Grimes, Sims and Knox? I really hope we have a plan to develop them. Not sure how you do that from the bench with h a sit here until someone is injure approach. I know the season has just started, but isn’t that what the G League is for? Are they just practice players for the rotation guys or are they part of the future

The GLeague is doing something new this year and I don't know if it impacts guys that would normally shuttle back and forth.
2021 season begins with a 12 game regional tourney that starts 5 Nov and then those tourney playoffs are mid December. Maybe you have to lock in rosters for the tourney, which only started 10 days ago.

That’s interesting, I have no idea how it works and that article doesn’t make it clear either. The only rostered player I know of that is playing in the G League is Serge Ibaka. I’m not saying that there aren’t more, but he has been in the news recently.

Nothing wrong with that. You've set the bar and given the rookie a live look and what's to be expected of him in and out of practice.
Fast forward and McBride right now is essentially a 5th string point guard behind Kemba/Rose/IQ and even Burks, who Thibs has shown he trusts handling the ball when needed. Coach can change his mind as the season unfolds. Let him stretch his legs and get some competitive minutes under his belt.
I don't expect Grimes to go down - if anything happens to any of RJ/Burks/Fournier/IQ, he's next wing off the bench.
If Thibs could trade all of the rookies for vets, he would and not lose a nights sleep over it

Yeah I know, but games like this were Coby is going to go off I feel like Rhibs should call a time out and put the kid on him and let someone else try and beat us (he won’t). I do think Deuce needs some time in the G league to develop

Sorry to say but Luke looks like a much better fit than mitch, maybe the G league defense has something to do with it, but you can't deny is ability to space the floor, and put the ball the floor and drive.
We currently have major spacing issue, so I'm sure he will get a call up at some point base on the injury prone centers we currently have.
