Even if we don’t finally get lucky and get a top 3 pick which becomes Ivey we can still draft the second best pg in the draft at 11 Kennedy Chandler

I feel guys like Ty Ty and Chandler might be a reach at 11, but would make more sense if they trade down.

Please, no more wing players who aren’t great shooters. And no Centers, we have a Center just do the smart thing and pay him

Give me Dyson Daniels

I don’t see that big of a difference between players predicted in the top 5 and those who will seemingly be available at 11. Dyson, Tyty - someone who can help move the ball, play defense, make a shot.

Man, those shooting percentages really dropped over the course of the season. I'm worried about how much offensive initiation and shot creation he'll be able to provide.

A possible second rounder or FA? Not really big on Kai.

Imagine this guy and Obi filling the lanes with a real PG...

I don’t see him getting past both the Blazers and the Pelicans.

I try to dull my imagination as much as possible with the Knicks. It only leads to disappointment.

I like it. First mock I see that has the Spurs taking Duren which makes a lot of sense for them. I can see either them or the blazers grabbing the second best center this year.

Johnny Davis makes sense for DC too that on the low might want to grab him to Be a potential Beal replacement.

Dyson for the Knicks makes sense, they need connective tissue, and honestly the way Thibs runs his rotation a guy who can be plugged 1-3 is the only way they might play this year.

The only caveat I have is this mock didn’t include Kendall Brown who should go either late teens or the 20’s.

After seeing the Knicks hold still at 11, I’m ready to have more opinions of who they should draft. Knicks would be very fortunate if either Johnny Davis or Dyson Daniels is there. Davis is a winner, a 2-way player and fits the Thibs archetype of wings that develop well for him. Butler, Barrett, deng etc. Daniels is an oversized playmaker who can be some version of Marcus Smart and Lonzo Ball in terms of connecting players who can play multiple position in a lot of different lineups and serve as a defensive stopper and glue guy on offense. Either player can play alongside Brunson if we made that push, or Quickley and Rose if we stick with that at PG and want to develop in-house. I’m still open to the other wings Mathurin, Branham, and Agbaji, but Davis and Daniels hold particular interest when you look at guys who are excelling in the playoffs and guys who fit the culture the Knicks are clearly pushing towards.

He was playing injured at that point.

Makes sense.
