Also, if we’re not missing RJ to start the third, I don’t think they go on that quick 10 point run.
And… Mitch and Rose were questionable. And Noel is playing gimpy.

Hard to beat home cooking. We lost the game when we allowed it to be that close. That run in the first few minutes of the 3rd quarter killed us.

No harm in this loss. This team looks much different with this rotation. Love how Randle played. And Burks is just a really good player.
Heartbreaking loss, but we played like a contender. I did not feel that even in the best moments of last season. Burks and Rose amazing games. Fournier stepping up big too. But Randle... I am so frustrated with this guy, is it low IQ? He rushes in some huge possessions and then the technical?
Off topic, but I spoke with friend that was at Barclay's (1st time watching NBA live) and he was so surprised about the 50/50 division of the fans. Then in the 4th quarter he wrote me back and said: I was wrong, it was definitely 70/30 for the knicks.

Mitch sure looked like he was wrong there. Use your length and I bet that's a no call as well. Or a lot better chance than reaching down.
Good news is can't help but wonder if either one or both of the Kemba decision for Burks and a game against the Nets helped the team look more like last year.

Really glad with this game. One concern is Rose’s minutes. I hope Thibs isn’t planning to ride him all season.
But I think we know that’s exactly what he’ll do.
If we don’t trade Kemba, he WILL get more opportunities to play.
We played well so that was good
BS call by refs. Yes if Mitch stayed vertical blah blah blah but truth is Mitch knocked the ball loose cleanly. Too bad we had no ability to challenge.
KD and harden get a lot of calls I honestly don’t think a single Knick got a similar call at any point in the game
Hopefully we grow from this
