Knicks · Cutting the cord. What do you guys have for internet, Knicks, etc? (page 1)

What are you guys using for internet, TV, and for watching our beloved team?

Right now I'm an Optimum "triple play" subscriber. Mainly because I never make time to change that. My bill has crept well over $200, and I'm ready to start making changes.

Here's what I'm looking for...

I don't need a land line any more. All I get on it are calls about my extended warranty.

I need good internet. I WFH, I'm a gadget junkie, gamer, Netflix, etc.

I need to watch all Knicks games in high def.

I need TNT.

I'd like ESPN.

I'd like Showtime, but don't need it all the time.

I'd like HBO Max, but don't need it all the time.

Should I switch to FIOS? Just reduce my Optimum package? Cancel my TV options partially/completely? Something else?

What do you guys do, and are you happy with it?

FuboTV app will get you MSG, ESPN and most all of the regular channels you'd expect from a cable company but no TNT. ~$65 per month.

FIOS is awesome. If you can get it - super fast.

Now- here is the thing- for all of what you outlined- you do end up paying almost as much as you are now - the key difference is you can stream this anywhere, on your phone, bedroom, on the road, etc.

I went and upgraded my Hulu so I could get TBS & TNT- but after the poor play, I’m going to cancel it- I can live without seeing a few Knick games.

I watch live streams. To found it's easier to use yandex.com as a search engine for such sites as queries actually come up, unlike google

I don’t live in NY so the nba tv app works great and is reasonably priced
