Fact: he was eligible for a deal that could have been worth $200 mil. We applauded him and the FO for his 4 year deal at $117mil.
We loved that he wanted to be here.
He makes 21 mil this year then it ups to 23 next, then 25, 27, then 29 and change.
Dump him after 30 games? Opinion. Ok. But lets not get all stupid that his deal is a killer.
None of us matter but im rooting for him to be NOT THE cornerstone but a building block with 21 year old RJ.
We don't have a cornerstone player. Can't say what the path is to one either.
