valiant effort, but too many 3's given up.
So it was another fake comeback. Has anyone asked why Kemba can't be tried off the bench? I understand him not starting but why instantly out of the rotation? It helped us find out McBride can play but I still never understood that decision.
31 minutes of 0 pts 0 ast 0 reb from taj + selden.
Kemba played as if he said "F*** trying not to step on Randles toes. I am playing my game!"

he's been getting DNPs ever since kemba declined to play when thibs asked him to. if thibs can't rely on you, it seems he'd rather remove you from consideration.
too early to call it on the season? I don't see how we dig ourselves out of the hole we've dug. I don't see us fixing the many problems the team has.
Wasn't expecting to win this (Boston is better) but was surprised we kept it close. Really disappointed in Randle.
On a night where we are shorthanded, he plays that poorly. I became a big Randle supporter after last season but he's lost me tbh. His play, defensive effort and body language are a big turnoff. He's become the total opposite of the player he was last season. He's becoming difficult to root for.
You can live with Tatum and Brown hitting shots but embarrassing to allow Richardson and Pritchard to go off like that. It's sad how much we've declined defensively. It was the biggest reason for the success of last season but you just don't see the same effort and pride this season from really anyone. Some of these guys got their contracts extended and relaxed.
Kemba showed what he can do and can't do. He can definately be a scorer off the bench but his defense is nonexistent. Hopefully we see a trade soon.
Hope the kids come back soon too. It's almost unwatchable without them. Losing sucks but it's even worse without guys you hope can be a part of a winning team in the future. We're going to struggle to reach 30 wins this season so guys like RJ, Obi, Grimes and Deuce are the only reasons to keep watching.

This team needs Dr. Phil

Which team have many problems?
A. Pre Covid protocol
B. Post Covid protocol
Going through this protocol came out two diamonds in grimes and duece.

Nope. We have the 5th hardest record remaining in the league. It's going to get worse.
I doubt we reach 30 wins tbh.

Tonight, coach Thibs 8-Man rotation became to tired down the stretch to pull off a Knicks win in Boston.
The way the Knicks roster are built for the 2021-22 season, in the Knicks first 50 regular season games the Knicks will need a 10 Man rotation each game to build a chemistry for success.
Coach Thibs has a career of running a 6 to 8 man-rotation a game, even in back to back games (That's why D.Rose playing 40 to 48 minute a game became a injury-prone player in Chi-Town).
Coach Thibs wanted any reason to decrease the Knicks 10-man rotation that kept the Knicks above .500.
Kemba's mouth in practice or the locker-room bout certain players in the rotation gave Thibs the chance to decrease the 10 man rotation to a 9 man rotation by kicking Kemba out of the rotation.
The 9 Man rotation gave the Knicks 2-8 record.
Tonight, was the first game the Knicks starters owned the 3rd quarter from start to finish (41-24).
The Knicks starters went on a 23-5 run to take a 3 pt lead at the start of the 3rd qtr..
Showing facts that RJ Barrett has been the biggest problem in the Knicks starter lineup all season !!!
RJ Barrett need to be traded asap

Knicks don’t play a team with a record above .500 until Jan 17, for what it’s worth.
This now multiple people saying there was an altercation between Thibs and Kemba. Is this true? How did I miss this?
FO is all, "thank god now we can actually trade him with value"
I fell asleep at halftime and missed the 2nd half but I'm not even upset about this loss. We were without half of our damn roster.
This is why I said from the beginning. I will not judge anyone in the starting lineup until I see them play without Randle. Not every player can just be a spot up shooter. We signed EF to bring more to the table than just spot up but then only use him as a spot up shooter. If we wanted just a spot up shooter you should have re-signed Bullock. Even though it is clear he is injured EF is better than what we have seen here because are were not using him correctly. Probably the same can be said for Kemba. The starters are too Randle centric which is why no matter who starts the constant is they always suck. No one is in a rhythm except Randle and Randle is not good enough to carry a team. They have no chance at being good playing this way.
This is another Thibs issue. The ability to get the most out of the team is his job. He did it well last year except the Elf situation. He has been really bad at it this year. I am not saying I want him fired or anything like that. I actually like Thibs but I am not blind to his many faults. I just want him to fix those faults. Like I have said many times before Kemba and EF did not forget to score over the coarse of 1 off season. They have been great scorers their entire lives. Now it is on Thibs to stop being stubborn and make the chess pieces around to get the most out of this team. Start with having the offense run through the guards 90% to 95% of the time.
