We’re up the biggest creek with no paddle. Might think about a trade for Randle and a sonic explosion to start over

Walker needs to rest at least one more game. Dammit

Briggs you’re always the king of drastic thinking. We won’t sell everything and rebuild just because rose is out 8 weeks and Kemba has knee soreness.

This is earth shattering. When a team is without their starting PG and their backup PG, both of whom are solid and have been all stars so know the ropes, they will be bad lol
Their are not too many teams that survive both especially when one is a last minute scratch and then you have to rely on a second round pick to start.

My mother in law is 80. Her ice maker in her fridge went out. Rather than get it fixed, she wants a new fridge. Its 5 years old. Told her the parts would take 6 weeks to get. She cried. I told her i’d get a few cube trays to use. Also, we could buy ice. Fridge she wants will take 6 months to get. Asked her few weeks later how she was making out. “I don’t really like ice in my drinks, Im ok”.
If Briggs was my mother inlaw, he’d want a a new kitchen to fix the ice machine issue.

You just seem to swing between two polar opposites, BRIGGS, it's like you can't or won't perceive anything in between
BigDaddyG@ 1/1/2022 3:16 PM
To be honest, the team sucked with Kemba and Rose. It'd make sense that it would suck w/o them. But Grimes is also getting major minutes like you asked for and the team drafted Sims like you asked for. You're gonna have to be content with the small victories this season Briggs.
BRIGGS@ 1/1/2022 3:25 PM
its always can we win it all or we cant.
If that means keeping randle(maybe the best asset we have) im down.
and Im glad we have a good assortment of younger role players as of now
But this is a 2014 scenario with our PG Position these guys are good but breaking down and thats the head of the ship. If the ship has no captain it will be sailing no where

After youth played like trash last night outside of rj barret i don't think dolan ,thibs, perry, and leon rose going full youth mode.

I like how we’ve given the young players one game to prove themselves

No PROBLEM!

teams needs a basketball leader. Guys who make the ship go. Rose and Walker can do that. McBride is to young
NYKMentality@ 1/7/2022 2:46 PM
13 games without Rose. 14 games without Kemba.
And we're still not dead.
We're actually within the thick of things @ only 2.5 games back of the 6th seed.
Imo the goal isn't to have Kemba/Rose playing big minutes during the regular season, it's to have them fresh, rested, healthy and 100% ready for playoffs basketball.
No Rose? No Kemba?
No problem.
It's up to the rest of our players to hold down the fort and compete without them and put us in playoff position (for their returns).
