Alec Burks looked awesome shooting 2/11 (.182%) and only 4 rebounds and 1 assist 😅

Has someone told Thibs yet that Burks is not a pg?

Dude. We all agree that he, RJ and others played like trash. You’re the one here saying Julius is the man when he isn’t. Stop trolling.
I will never for the life of me understand how a profession wing player who has had a shooting trainer for multiple years shoots 1-5 from the FT line.
I remember someone making a big deal about us only scoring 80 when Randle was out. Hopefully he can keep that same energy with us only scoring 75 tonight.

The Celtics announcers are horrible

I don't mind them anymore now that Tom isn't there. He was the NYKMentality of the Celtics..such a homer.
Very predictable loss. You knew Boston would bring it after that loss. We kept it close for a half but the dreaded 3rd quarter of doom was again too much. We are pretty even with Boston at full strength but we clearly missed Rose, Kemba and (gulp) Fournier. We just did not have enough scoring. We end up spliting the season series 2-2 so we'll take that. Gut feeling we'll be playing them in the play-in tournament.
Another awful game by Randle and it's games like these where he turns the ball over like crazy and doesn't hustle on defense why he get's booed and rightfully bashed. And can he please stop arguing with the zebras? He spent an entire timeout crying to them! Has arguing ever worked?! I think Randle thinks of himself as one of the Stars in the league and thus should get every call but he needs a reality check. He's a good player. He's not a bum. He was amazing last season minus the playoffs but he hasn't earned the Star status. It takes more than 1 season to earn those calls. To quote him, he needs to 'STFU', quit arguing with the zebras and simply play better.
This game also shows IQ is best suited as that microwave player off the bench. I think he did a decent job starting but we need him in that role off the bench. We only got 6 points off the bench and that's arguably our biggest strength.

You know, if Evan Fournier had played and just scored clos to his average, we would've cleared 100 points and won this game.
So here we are pondering why we can’t play team ball, meanwhile Randle is probably ordering tacos
I have come to the conclusion that all of our players are extremely streaky. The streaks can come from game to game or half to half or quarter to quarter. Our only hope of looking like an NBA team is that we have enough of them get hot long enough that we can score enough to give ourselves a chance to win. How is an NBA team in the year 2022 still struggling to score over 75. All you record hawks can have faith that we have a chance but I just don't see us being anything but a mid to late lottery team. I don't fall for the great game here or there because that was just a game where a couple of guys got hot. we know for a fact it won't last.

I just made the same comment...

The same this can be said said about the OKC game. Think Evan had 2 pts...

We don’t have any great perimeter shooters. Our best perimeter scorer is Kemba and who knows when he’s coming back. Burks is the second best on the roster problem is Thibs insists on him being a full time pg which in turn causes him to self destruct
I think we all know this team is a borderline playoff team even if we over achieve and get to 5 or 4 we aren’t beating the nets bucks… this front office has big decisions to make… I love that we are better then the past 10 years of misfortune and lottery mishaps. We have a team, it’s up to the front office to make the right moves to push us into the right direction.
We have great trade chips in OBI, McBride, Grimes, EF, Randle(for the right trade), mitch, burks … this team is loaded with trade chips .
We also have a nice base of Quick, Randle, Drose, Barrett we just have to grow if this was last year everyone would be satisfied.
The Knicks 2nd half performance was a joke!
Way to much of Randle to Barrett, and Barrett to Randle on practically every Knicks offensive possession in the 2nd half of the game. Both Randle & Barrett playing Hero-ball in the 2nd half having no ball movement kept their teammates out the offense, which lead to Randle & Barrett combining for over 40 FG attempts in the game, when the Knicks team shot 79 FG attempts for the game.
Boston scored 21 pts off of Knicks turnovers, Randle played a very sloppy game while in control of the Knicks offense.
Well, at least Boston center Williams only Blocked 4 shots tonight, instead of 7.
Coach Thibs Seven in half Man Rotation (Obi 9 min) scored 33 pts in the 2nd half of the game, while Boston 9 man rotation scored 32 pts in the 3rd qtr.
What was Barrett doing on the floor in the last minute and a half?
Please.
Well, coach Thibs got what he wanted, he STOP all the Knicks fans from saying/shouting in MSG the Knicks bench-player lineup are better and more exciting than the Knicks starters.
The two and a half bench players scored 6 pts tonight !!!
Have Thibs put the bench lineup of McBride, Quickley, Burks, Obi, and Taj Gibson leadership back on the court since their dynamic 4th quarter win over the Pistons ???

Thibs was hoping for the opportunity for him to get fouled so he could practice his FT shooting?
