We should have beat them by 30. Happy for the W though.
Any love for "the starters?"
Jr. Knicks run to meet up with Kev after the game. Fun moment. Wish him the best, hope he gets an opportunity in Atlanta.

Glad they pulled it out. Maybe Thibs is putting the pressure on them to play together.
Well for the moment it doesn't seem the sky is falling. The coach and team pulled themselves out of a tough rut during bizarre Covid times with improving play and a nice run. Without their first two point guards.
I love that they are showing love to a good guy.

Are you quoting a passage from my book.

Do we really need to make another trade? I would hate to lose Burks or grimes. And now I’m on the fence with Fournier. Kemba is still a solid option for the playoffs. Don’t trust Randle in those key playoff moments. But Kemba will shine when healthy. Maybe trade one of the 3 centers?

Indeed I was!
All starters in double digits tonight.
All starters were a plus tonight.
Three of our starters shot over 50% with Randle at 47% and RJ at 40%
Randle with 9 assists.
Our two stars who most think are average combined for 50 of our points.
Knicks with just 8 TO's tonight.
Knicks now over .500!
Knicks 7-3 in last 10 and a 3 game winning streak.
Let the love begin.
I have no problems with the Knicks these last 3 games. Win or lose if we play like this I am good. They are playing as a team and multiple people step up at different times when needed. The defense has come back and they are doing better hitting wide open shots. Everything looks good to me. Oh yea, RJ finally looks like he has taken the next step.

I will keep saying it depends on the market. If the Kings decide to pull the trigger on Simmons and their is a way the Knicks can get in their and come out with a good player, you do it. Same for other deals. Being a third piece to make a deal work could be really useful.
I don’t think the Knicks are outright buyers. Even moving Obi or Kemba isn’t something they have to do to get better. A trade is a luxury as long as Burks is playing like he did tonight 17/9/8 on 4-8 shooting is excellent!

Yep! They finally have some chemistry- weirdly it seems to have coincided with he bench losing theirs- Obi seems shot since Randle was out then returned, think Thibs really blasted his confidence their especially with the post game quarterback comments.

I am hoping they can get their mojo back when Rose heals. If we can somehow fix the bench while the starters are still doing well we can really make some strides.

I agree……which seems to be this FO approach since they took over. And that’s been their approach ever since. I just know knick fans always want to tinker with the roster like trading Mitch for an offensive center. Or adding a PG which has been a weakness for a reason. Their is simply a shortage of PGs available.
There are small trades we can make to help with the rotation but right now injuries are helping with that. I agree on Burks play lately along with grimes who look good in that second unit. Even Obi brings energy even though he been slumping.
24 assists is the stat I am most pleased with. It has been a major weakness of ours. All the starters have scored at least 14 points! When we share the ball our offense goes to a whole another level.
That’s great!
