Our only chance of winning this game is by A.) Avoiding our 3rd quarter of Doom and B.) Getting back to within 6-8 points with at least 8:00 remaining in the 4th Q.
We're going to have to pretty much destroy Charlotte by 12+ in the 3rd (for a chance to comeback in the 4th.

Didn't see the pre-game but the Hornets are doing a good job of mixing up man to man and a zone. We've struggled vs a zone defense since last year...
MSG broadcast is blacked out here. I’m on the Charlotte broadcast. They are probably the second best broadcast in the league after Clyde and Breen. They are having a lot of fun with this game and zero homerism. Charlottes coach spent about 7 minutes breaking down the game plan against the Knicks pregame
We have this team exactly where we want them.
With the Knicks, when we are up by up alot at the half I worry we completely fall asleep 2nd half...
When we are down by a lot at the half, I know there is likely to be some magical run that somehow keeps the game close at last few seconds.

For all of his qualities, IQ can't get past most defenders regularly. I can't tell if it's lack of burst or handle or what
To add...Burks has taken 2 shots so far. 8 against the Hawks. Burks is at his best is when he is free to create for himself and score in bunches. Playing the point has him thinking too much because of the added responsibility and has taken away a key strength that he adds to this team off the bench...

If RJ is being selfish and throwing stupid passes missing wide open passes he sits. It’s that simple. Play Obi and Randle together to try to switch things up occasionally.
We miss the open man all the time. Always someone over dribbling, Burks, IQ, Barrett, Randle.
Time to cut bait and play for the lottery, we are a play in team with middle of the road talent let’s stop kidding ourselves.

This is pretty much what the Hawks did to us in the playoffs.
This is ultimately a solid but low ceiling team. I feel
like when teams really come at us physically they can usually impose their will and win.
