Even with all of the assists, even with everything he did last year facilitating the offensive, I have never thought Randle was ever a solid offensive facilitator or a good passer. Too many of his assists are the variety where he is just able to hang in the air long enough to desperately find an open guy who he is lucky to hit at the last second. And then there are also just the horrendous passes that he and RJ keep making for whatever reason. Like inconceivably bad passes

I sound like a broken record but if the yoots shot like this as a starter, they wouldn’t see the court the next game.

Team is a mess. I think the biggest issue is our starters. We need some killers. Some guys who truly hate to lose

We have guys who like to play who like to win but that’s not the same thing.

I think leader may be a slight variation on killer or maybe one in the same. RJ and Randle aren't that type of person. Too inconsistent and not the right type of personality

^ or energy to tack onto leader/killer. RJ, Randle, Fournier don't have it consistently

Then make the second unit the first unit. I don’t care how much they get paid that’s on the FO. Thibs said he’s playing to win right? Then why does he leave all that young energy on the bench? Why start slow then play the yoots to bring you back? That’s backwards. Time to mix things up or the boos and get worse.

Exactly thibs…the starting unit has players that let their offense dictate their defense. It’s a broken record with the starting unit. That’s the definition of insanity which is why knick fans are all going crazy. NYK wants to be positive but gets picked on. Others are negative saying the yoots aren’t ready, but they rather see the vets crap all over the court. Everybody is going crazy 😜
